Butterflies Birthday Card...

Happy Monday, everyone! Today, I want to share this card I made for my friend's daughter who celebrated her 2nd Birthday yesterday. I bought a couple of gifts for her and realized that both had butterflies on them so, I decided to make this card to match with those gifts. I used this butterfly rubber stamp that I bought from Michaels a while back (does not have a brand name) to highlight this card. I stamped it several times and colored the images with my Prismacolor and Sharpie Markers. I added Stickles (glitter) for added dimension. The base card is from DCWV (boxed card) and I embossed the green and blue panels with my Cuttlebug. I added a satin ribbon and decorated it with multicolored buttons (Aha! I seldom used these buttons but they are so cute on this project, I think I have to keep using them now...LOL). The sentiment is from Printworks. I must say I am happy with the way the colors came together. I don't make cards with lay-out or a clear picture of how the colors need to be arranged in a project. I am that kind of Card maker that takes colors and lay them on my base card and see which one would look nice together. I really love how this one came out. What do you think? Well, I'm on a 2-week break from my Bible School Class so, I hope to do more projects whenever I can. I can't wait to attend the next class which would tackle Ethics. Fabulous Cheerleader Shaped Card...

Hi there, Crafters! I am here to share another card I finished a couple of days ago. The main image is from Bugaboo Digi Stamps and I colored her with my Promarker and Prismacolor markers quite a bit ago. She is so cute in her glittered outfit and pompoms that I thought I had to make a unique card to highlight her beauty so, this is what I came up with...A nice funky-shaped card. I remember seeing this Card style in several blogs that I visited (don't remember now) and saw how beautiful they are so, I thought this would be the best time to highlight my colored Bugaboo image. With the use of my Cricut, I cut several circles in different sizes using the Mini Monogram cartridge and the sentiment "Fabulous" with the Paisley cartridge. I also used my new Nesties Scallop Circle (been wanting to buy some for many months now and finally I had the budget). After matting, stitching each layer, I attached some Prima flowers with pearls in their center, die-cut some leaves using my EK Success punch, punched a button with my MS Punch and attached a ribbon to it, incorporated some gems for extra dimension. I used 2 DP's and several shades of pink, black and metallic silver CS to complete this project. The finished card measures 5.5-inch height by 5.25-inch length. Pretty cool, huh! I am totally happy with this card and it's one of those creation that I can look at that would make me smile...Sometimes, I don't feel like spending much time making a card. I sure can make very simple ones but where is the fun in it? I spend hours making my projects with occasional sleepless nights too but afterwards, I know that they are projects I can be proud of. Anyway, I thank the Lord Jesus for all the inspiration to make wonderful projects and without Him, all of these creation would be meaningless. Aloha! Pineapple Girl Doily Card...

Hi there, friends! I know it's been a week since my last post but time always fly by so fast in my home and it was only yesterday that I was able to make this fabulous card I am sharing with you today. It's been cloudy and rainy here for a couple of days now and though we don't see snow commonly here, the ever changing Texas weather is not easy to deal with so, when I saw this fabulous Pineapple Girl Image from Mo Manning, all colored and ready (I colored it a few months ago with my Promarker and Prismacolor markers), I was inspired to make this Hawaiian, summer inspired, 5.5-inch card. I think she is so pretty that I cannot just make a simple card for her so, I cut a couple of doily cards with Kraft and Red CS (using my Cricut Wildcard cartridge) attached them together and started embellishing. I cut several circles in different sizes with 3 different DP's and used them to layer my card. I cut 2 flowers with my Sizzix die, embossed it with my Cuttlebug, layered some Prima flowers on them, attached with brads and glittered. I also cut 3 Swirly vines with another Sizzix die and added some glitters on them. Then, I included some gems for added dimension. The sentiment is from Hampton Art Stamps. And yes, as you will notice, I did a ton of sewing on this card. All in all, I had a long, fabulous time crafting and it turned out great. What do you think? After all the fun time crafting last night, I was very sleepy today (the cool and rainy day helped me feel that way too...LOL) and I am glad I found the strength to post this card after dosing off several times in our sofa. Oh and I had an exam with my Bible Class last Thursday and I think I got a perfect score (I'll know for sure next Thursday) so, thanking my Father Almighty Who is ever so faithful to me in spite of my imperfections. He surely reminds me daily how the blood of Jesus washed me clean of every sin in the past, present and future. To Him, I give all the praise. I Do Love You Flowery Easel Card...

Good morning, Crafty people! I know that many of you are busy making "Love" themed card these days and I must say I did not make any until last night. The truth is I don't make card for a specific occasion but something that can be used for any occasion so, here's my take on a romantic card...LOL First, I colored a cute boy with a rose image from Whipper Snapper Designs with my Promarkers. I got an A2 Kraft CS and fold it into an Easel Card. I embossed the background frame image (both in the card and envelope) as well as the inside of the card with my Cuttlebug. I used 3 Tim Holtz Distress Inks (Fired Brick, Broken China and Walnut Stain) to age the background. I printed the wonderful message into two parts, die-cut and emboss with my Nesties and inked all over them. I pieced together several Prima flowers, attached multicolor Imaginisce gems in the center of each and all over the card. I punched 2 colors of leaves (dark brown and green) using an MS Punch and attached them to the card. I also created an envelope-box to coordinate with this card. I am so happy with the result. It's my first time to blend distress inks in a card and it went well. Thank God for the idea. Anyway, hope you enjoy browsing and please leave me a comment on what you think about this card. Hmm, what will I do next? So many projects but not much time to do them. Oh well, weekend is pretty busy but hoping to have a few hours later to start another project. Creating these cards are like therapy for me, they give a smile to my face. I can't help but thank my Father in Heaven for giving me such wonderful inspiration day after day. So, here I am again with a card I made with the little time I had last night. I thought I would not be able to make one because I simply don't have any concept planned but I decided to go on anyway. I bought this bird stamp from Studio G and would like to emboss it for some sort of project. I got my swirly floral background stamp from Stampabilities and incorporated it here. I had it for a year or so now and never used because I just keep forgetting I have it...LOL But the focal point of this card is one of my favorite verses in the Bible which is a stamp I bought at Clear Dollar Stamps. Just For You Baking Doily Card...

A wonderful Friday, everyone...Today, I want to feature a shaped card that I cut at 5.5-inch from my Cricut Wildcard Cartridge. It's been a while since I made a doily card and I am so excited that I got to make one again. This card highlights a wonderful image from Bugaboo Digi Stamps Collection called "Baking Dottie." (Isn't she fabulous?) that I colored with my Promarker and Prismacolor Markers. I used a Kraft CS and ink it all over with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I used my MS Circle Cutter to cut the circles that layered this card. I used 2 DP's from My Mind's Eye (Wild Asparagus) Collection. I stamped the "love" border on the polka dot DP. I am totally happy I did. I attached a designer trim, 7 flowers that I stamped using different Cat's Eye Chalk Inks, attached coordinating gems in the middle of each flower and stamped the sentiment from Studio G stamps. I decorated the inside too and made an envelope-box for it. And to finish it all, I incorporated stitching all over this project. I am totally thrilled at the result and hope you love it too. Good morning, fellow Crafters! I want to share with you an A2 card I finished today. I've been taking little time here and there for the last 3 days to finish this card and I am proud of how it turned out. This very cute image is from Mo Manning Digi Stamp Collection. It's my favorite place to buy digi stamps because they are artwork at it's best. I colored her a few weeks ago using my Pro Marker and Prismacolor markers. I used 2 Cuttlebug embossing folders, used my Fiskars stamp to produce the scalloped Birthday sentiment, attached different color gems and got the main sentiment from a book called "The Ultimate Guide to a Perfect Card, 2nd Edition). I stamped the bracket image from Inkadinkado and the "celebrate" sentiment from Studio G stamps. And to make it as nice as it can be, I did stitching all over the card too as well as in the handmade envelope-box. I am very happy and love using mostly kraft and brown CS for this project. Hey there, I'm back. Nope, I didn't go on vacation! Just had many things to do as the New Year started. On the other hand, I've been coloring some images when I find the time and I've had quite a bit ready to make a card with so, here's one I made featuring a Dustin Pike image. I colored it with my Pro Marker/Prismacolor markers, dry embossed the base kraft CS with 2 embossing folders---one from Tim Holtz/Sizzix and the other from Cuttlebug. I used a DP from Paper Studio (Birthday Extravaganza) and die cut a border using EK Success Border Punch. I attached some gems and did sewing all over the card. Lastly, I stamped a sentiment from Stampendous. So, here it is and hope you like it too. This card is entered into the following Challenges:

The envelope was stamped with a balloon image from a collection I don't remember from. I took it off it's original packaging and filed it with similar stamps and now, I don't remember who made them. I stamped it with green cat's eyes (chalk ink) and was not satisfied because it made it a bit light especially in a Kraft envelope. So, I double stamp it using Memento ink that i just applied on the edge of the balloon stamp and I was pretty happy with the result. The sentiment in the middle was from Stampendous. Okay folks, that's it for now and hopefully I can complete another card pretty soon...Not feeling too well today...allergies are just bugging me with some irritating headaches too. I trust in the Lord's healing and will find comfort from this inconvenience shortly. God bless!

Congrats Tied-Up Couple Card...

New Year's day was such a busy day for me. From Church early morning followed by a Wedding of a friend, then Reception and then another friend's New Year's Party...I was running on Holy Spirit fuel for sure to last that day. But as mentioned, I had to make a card for a friend's wedding. I usually take a lot of time to make a card but I know I can't so, I made this up as I go. Got an A7 card and attached a DP from my scrap paper stash. I thought an elegant Wedding card must have some sort of embossing so, I sure did with my Cuttlebug. I stamped this funny image (this is the second time I used it in a card) on a panel I die-cut with my Nesties. I also got some of my nice lace to add dimension to this project. I thought that's all I would do but was struggling with the spaces that seemed so bare. That's when I got some of those off-white Brides flowers, attached some red gems in the center of each and attached them with foam dots. To finish it all up, I punched six leaves using MS Punch to complete the front of this card. Inside, I had to get a sentiment from a book called "Ultimate Guide to the Perfect Card". Since the couple is tying the knot with the blessings of the Body of Christ, I added the phrase "Let Jesus drive!" at the end of the sentiment and walah, I was done...Still, it took me more than 2 hours to complete...LOL But for me, that is as quick and elegant as it can be. I also emboss the flap of the envelope to coordinate it with my card and it was good. Anyway, hope you like it too.

Merry Christmas Snowflakes (Blue and Brown) Card...

Wow, end of last year was such a busy time for me so, I was unable to post as many projects as I wanted to. Like for example, these cards I made for my Bible and Zumba teacher...I gave them both some handmade candles (see posting on my handmade candles here in my blog) together with these handmade cards. One thing was for sure when I was making these, I didn't have a lot of time to spare so, these should be simple and elegant at the same time. I used my Cuttlebug to dry emboss the base panel of the cards, took some Christmas ribbons that I bought last year and heat emboss the sentiment which is from Inkadinkado rubber stamps. The inside sentiment is taken from the Bible and dry embossed the envelope flap. I did one with blue ribbon and the other in brown. Hope you like them.

Graduation Congrats (Black and White) Card...

Hey there, guys! I know it's been more than a week and now, I am back with a card that a friend of mine asked me to make. She needed a Graduation card and at first, I don't really know what to do since I have not made one before (I don't know why...maybe because it's not a common card to give and I don't know of anyone needing it at that time). But I was determined to do it this time. I decided to look for some inspiration since I was not going to make a highly embellished card but somewhat nice and simple. I got that inspiration card from the book Stamp It! Cards from Paper Craft Magazine. It was a design from Summer Ford. I was inspired by the color scheme and the lay-out but at the end, I added my own personal touch to this card. I used my Cuttlebug for dry embossing, flower (big and small) images (stamped and heat embossed) from Scrappy Cat Stamps, Swirl stamp from Autumn Leaves Stamps, Letter Stamps from Inkadinkado, stamp text on each letter from Glitz Stamps and a black with white ribbon. Needless to say, I was pretty satisfied with the outcome of this A7 size card. Hope you like it too.

Not a Card but Lots and I mean "Lots of CANDLES"...

Hi there, friends! Oh no, I am not abandoning making cards. It's just that after trying to make these candles several weeks ago, I fell in love so, what a way to celebrate that by making lots of them to give to my friends this Christmas season. I went crazy coloring the images for several weeks (on whatever free time I had) and after that, it took me an entire week of a little or no sleep to finally get the images to the candles. It's also hard to find the sentiments that will compliment the images the way I want them to but finally, I am done and time to share them with all of you here. I must warn you that this post is picture heavy so, I hope you will not have a problem viewing all the pics. I got almost all of my images from Mo Manning Digital Stamps, a few others from Magnolia, High Hopes, Bugaboo Digi Stamps and Inkadinkado. Oh my, you bet I was tired with many many days of no sleep just to finish them. That is why I haven't posted for a while in here. Now, you know why...LOL. I am thankful to God Almighty for giving me the strength to finish decorating these candles and praying that it will be a blessing to those that will have them. Never Too Old for Cupcake Birthday Card...

Hey there, friends! Wow, I am counting the weeks (yes, that long!) since my last post and wonder what I did with all that time? But the usual things of life plus a project I am trying to complete kept me from making some cards the past few days but today, I had to make a birthday card for a friend whose birthday is in the next few days but had a party yesterday. I love stamping technique a lot although I have several Cricut machines and many carts that I seldom use. Just few days ago, I discovered Cricut Craft Room and what a wonderful way to complete a project using that program in my computer and my machines so, here's the card I made. I used the Once Upon a Princess cart to make this Cupcake Birthday die-cut...I did some inking and added some stickles (glitters) to embellish the cupcakes. Oh, how sweet! I also embossed the sentiment and the background CS using my Cuttlebug and incorporated a nice ribbon for added dimension. Inside the card is a nice sentiment from Thena Smith that I got from a book (The Ultimate Guide to a Perfect Card, 2nd Edition). I love how it fits my image perfectly...Anyway, this came out really good considering it was rushed...Is 3.5 hours making a card rushed?...Well, for me it was...LOL You're looking at an A7 size card.

If you need more information about the Cricut Craft Room, you can go to Cricut.com and sign-up to find out more about it. All I can tell you is that it's free and all you need to have is a computer with internet connection, your machine and the cartridge you want to use and you can cut images from your computer to the machine. It's kinda like the Cricut Design Studio but it's free and a lot easier, I think! Not a Card but Candle Decorating Projects...

Hello there, Fellow Crafters! Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. Just want to share with you a new way of stamping my favorite images...that is on candles. I am planning to give them as gifts and after watching several YouTube videos for ideas, I decided to try it and my oh my, I was very pleased with the results. I used 4 of Mo Manning's Digital Stamp Images and they were the best images for my candles. I colored them with my Prismacolor and ProMarkers and added some glitters to a couple of them. Just For You Birthday Cake Card...

Good morning, friends! Here's a card I wanted to share to y'all today...I made it last night and it's for someone who wanted me to make a card for her husband. It was a last minute thing for me so, I thought of making a simple card. She mentioned she wanted a cake image and so, I am happy to oblige...LOL I had this cake rubber stamp for a long time now and there's not really a brand any where in the stamp that I can see so, I guess, it's unknown...LOL But it's pretty so, I gotta use it and decided to color it with my Prismacolor and Pro Marker. I made an A2 size card using Kraft paper, got my Cuttlebug to emboss the background paper, the circle and the scallop Nesties to give the cake an edge, an MS Punch for the border, a nice ribbon from American Crafts, a nice outside sentiment from Studio G stamps, 3 tiny eyelets and a computer generated sentiment inside the card as requested. I didn't intend to spend a lot of time making this card but it still took me quite a bit. Nevertheless, I am happy because I gave my all to make this as nice as it can be... Well, hope she likes it...I will know by Sunday...LOL

Not a Card but Heat Transfer Vinyl on Shirts...

Hi there, fellas! I will be posting a card shortly but wanted to show you all what I've made several days ago. I went ahead and tried the Heat Transfer T-shirt Vinyl on these tank tops that I purchased. I was skeptical on how it would turn out so, I didn't go crazy buying the Vinyl material cause first of all, they are not cheap...LOL So, I got a few colors I think I can work on and watch random tutorials on how to use them and walah, here's what I came up with. I used my Cricut to cut the material and the kiss-cut setting that was recommended by the Vinyl manufacturer didn't work with my machine. It ended up cutting all the way through the backing. I am thankful I didn't panic because I was able to iron the letters and flowers one by one after aligning each character. Had to use a Cricut tool to remove the vinyl backing after adhering the design to the shirt. I am really happy with the results that I made another (pink shirt below) the very next day. I used my Gypsy to come up with the design...

Young Lady Birthday Floral Card...

Hi there, friends! Today, I want to share with you the A2 card I made recently for the daughter of my friend. I had to do it quickly ( a few hours, is that quick?...LOL) since I didn't have much time prior to the party (I am really into last minute projects, got to change that!...LOL) so, I chose this image from Kim McFarlane collection. I colored it with my Prismacolor markers, cut with my Nesties, embossed with Cuttlebug, made borders and leaves from MS Punches, added glitter and a fancy ribbon, attached some Brides flowers and adhered different sizes of gems. Smooches For You Easel Card...

A wonderful day to all you Fellow Crafters! Finally, I'm able to spend a little time at my crafting table and make a card out of this very beautiful image I got from Mo Manning Digi Stamps Collection. I colored her using Gamsol technique. I have several images that were colored and waiting for me to make them into a card. Oh, but time is such a luxury...at least it feels like it!...LOL But I could not make this cute image waiting for a long time so, I had to lose some sleep just to get this done...LOL

I'm still inspired to make Easel Cards so, this one measures 5.5 inches square. I used some of my K & Co., DCWV and Paper Studio fancy DP's. I also used MS Punches for the borders and butterflies, a nice polka-dot ribbon, Nesties for the Circle and Scallop Die-cuts, Stickles (glitter) for added dimension, plenty of dew drops, a computer generated sentiment and a whole lot of sewing. Scripture Wedding Easel Card...

Hey there, Fellow Crafters! I can't believe were already in November and onto my favorite time of the year, Christmas! Oh well, this also reminds me of the many cards I have to make to send to my friends and those decorations that needed to be put up soon. Anyway, I don't want to think about it because doing so already makes me tired...LOL Anyway, today, I want to share a card I made just recently for a friend who just got married. I don't make a lot of wedding cards so, I am happy that I am able to come up with this one. I've been loving Easel Cards the past few months so, here's another one. The bride and the groom stamp is from Studio 112 and the Church stamp is from Paper Studio. The sentiment is straight from the Bible and is computer generated. I used Nesties dies to produce the circles and scallops. I like the 2 metal brads I added because it features the initials of the couple. For dimension, I added glitter (Stickles), gems (in different sizes), Brides flowers with perfect pearls in the middle, and plenty of sewing. Hope you enjoy browsing at the pics. Just Because Garden Easel Card...

Great morning, everyone! Today, I am delighted to share this card I made just recently. I have colored the image a few weeks ago but it's only this time I was able to make a card out of it and so happy with the way it turned out. The image is from High Hopes Stamps and I colored it with my Prismacolor and Promarker markers. I used some Stickles for added dimension, ink the edges with Distress ink (Wild Honey), quite a number of brads (2 sizes), Prima flowers and lots of sewing. The "Just Because" sentiment is from Stampendous and the other sentiment I got from a book (Ultimate Guide to a Perfect Card) and was computer generated. I love it! About the DP I used, I tell you, I have some nice papers that I have kept for a long time now and because I don't have a place I can store them that gives me easy access, I tend to forget about them. So, I was glad I was not lazy that day to dig into my nice papers and found this one from K and Company (Portabello Road Collection). It's so fancy and compliments my image in terms of color perfectly. So, I ended up with a 5.5-inch square Easel card I am truly proud of. Hope you like it too. Hello everyone...This week was full of surprises as I was invited to a Wedding Shower 2 days prior to it happening and the funny part was, I forgot to buy a gift and didn't remember till it was 2 hours to the shower. So, I asked my hubby to buy a gift while I scramble to make a card. I was thinking of just including a generic card but the Cardmaker in me told me, it was not right since all our friends know I make cards. So, yes, I made this card in under 45 minutes which is like a miracle for me. For the amount of time I had available, I think it came out good...I used an image from Adam Pescott that I colored with my Prismacolor markers, Cuttlebug embossing, some nice lace and MS punch to die cut the scallops. Outside sentiment from Printworks and inside sentiment from Cloud 9 stamps. This card is entered into this Challenge:

Mini Happy Birthday Flower Notecards...

Hey there, Fellow Crafters! I know I've been missing in action for a while. There were so many things that I needed to attend and that included some vacation time with family and celebrating mine and my son's birthday the past month. Frankly, I was afraid I would be unable to make a card (at least the way I used to) after several weeks of not making one...LOL Silly, I know! But thanks to a friend who asked me to make her some notecards that I am able to get into making a project again.

This friend always trust my designs so, I made her these 6 mini cards...They are 3 x 3 inches in size (square) and I handmade each envelope too. The stamps I used were from Heidi Grace collection. The flowers were colored by Prismacolor markers and I added some purple and green stickles (glitter) for added dimension. The Birthday sentiment is from Printworks and the Bible verse inside the card is computer generated. I colored the flowers differently (aside from the flowers that's colored purple). I can only hope she likes this design. Your comments are welcome too.

Thinking of You (Girl with Doll) Card...

It's early morning here and I am supposed to be sleeping at this time but why am I awake? It's because I didn't go to sleep yet...LOL I was so determined to finish a card that I stayed all the way to where I finish and can post the pictures. Anyway, the main image is from Mo Manning Digi Stamp collection...(I love her stuff and if budget is not an issue, I will surely purchase more). But I love this girl...She looks so sweet with her doll. I colored her with my Prismacolor and Pro Markers. I used 3 DP's from my old K & Co. collection (the one that comes in a box). I used an MS Punch for the flower border and a nice 3/4-inch wide, wired ribbon. The tree in this image is cut from my Cricut Serenade Cartridge with the help of my Gypsy. I used Liquid Pearl (Platinum Pearl color) to give extra dimension to the center of the flowers. It's my first time to try it and I am very happy. Time to buy more colors...LOL I am glad I am able to combine die-cutting with my stamping now (I used to have a difficult time doing so). The sentiment is from Hero Arts Stamps and I cut the circles with my MS Circle Cutter. Lots of inking here and of course, my favorite thing to do with my cards....sewing! A True Friend (Bear and Porcupine) Card...

Happy Wednesday, everyone! It's a hot, hot day out here in Texas! I've been wanting to go out and window shop but every time I would think of getting into my truck after it's been parked out in the sun, it dismisses my idea of having fun shopping. Anyway, I made a card last night and finished the envelope just a few minutes ago. I must say, I have to deprive myself of some sleep time in order to do what I love to do...Though I'm sleepy today, I am so proud of what I've accomplished. I used a Kraft CS base and two DP's from DCWV (Stack No. 7). This hilarious image is from Dustin Pike Digi Stamps that I colored with my Prismacolor and ProMarkers. I distressed around the image with the Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I had to find a sentiment that would best capture the image and I found one online (I didn't find the name of the author of the sentiment/quote). For the tree, I used my Gypsy to cut this tree from the Serenade Cartridge. I love the images in that cart...Pure awesomeness! I used my Cuttlebug embossing for added dimension to the tree trunk and the leaves, adhered some gems and lastly, I did sewing all over this card including the panels in the envelope-box. Although a lot of work, I totally enjoyed this project. Hope you like it too. This card is entered into the following Challenges:

Hey folks! And so, it's the weekend once again. I am proud to share with you today the card I made yesterday. I sacrifice some sleep in order to just finish this project and so happy with the way it turned out. I finally gave in to purchasing some Mo Manning digi stamps and one of them is this very cute image. I colored it with my ProMarker and Prismacolor markers, inked it up with Vintage Photo distress ink, used 2 DP's from the DCWV Pet Stack I've had for more than a year now, used my Nestabilities for the circle and scallop shapes, gems from Imaginisce and Cuttlebug for embossing. I saw the sentiment from the Ultimate Guide to the Perfect Word Book I had and computer generated it. And lastly, plenty of sewing done both inside and outside the card and the panels on the envelope-box. I am totally in love with this image, I tell ya! Come to think of it, there's a lot of sentiments I could have chosen for this card but this one truly spoke to my heart. All things that are good, lovely, gives us joy and blesses our life all come from the Almighty God. I Love Being Married Humorous Card...

Hello everyone...Oh wow, it's been quite sometime since my last post but here I am with a new project that I just finished a few hours ago. I've been wanting to make a card out of this cute image after I colored it several days ago. I got it from Bugaboo Stamps. I tell you, there's a lot of nice images to buy there but I don't have a ton of budget to get everything I wanted.

Anyway, I used both my Prismacolor and Pro Markers to give life to this image. I usually like bright colors but my mood send me to color lighter that night. I was totally happy with the outcome. For this card (size 5.5" square), I used three DP's---two of which are from K and Company and the other from My Mind's Eye. I added some nice lace at the bottom of the card and several gems (different sizes). The sentiment came with the image but I had to change the font to suit my taste. And to finalize everything, I did a ton of sewing (like always) all over this card...including the panels inside and the panels in the envelope. I love it, love it, love it! Batman Birthday Wishes Card...

Hi there...Hope you are all enjoying a wonderful weekend. I would like to showcase this A7 card I made yesterday for a little boy who turned 5 and who happens to love Batman. I was going to check on my stamping collection to see what to do but hey, I remembered I had a Batman Cricut Cartridge that I have not used since I bought it like a year or so ago...There were some interesting Batman projects there but I choose this one. I thought I would save time and it was not very hard to get all the things I needed in the Gypsy. But I was mistaken because as soon as I got all the pieces I needed, piecing them together were a lot of challenge. That is mainly due to the size of the image (cut it in 4 inches). The smaller pieces are not so easy to apply glue on and center. But anyway, I finished the piecing of Batman, ink him up a bit, embossed a card stock for added dimension and attached some eyelets on it. The outside sentiment is from Studio G while the inside candles and sentiment was from The Paper Company Studio. This card is entered into this Challenge:

"I Like Your Style" Flower-Paisley Card...

Hello there, fellow Crafters! As much as I wanted to make more cards each week, a lot of things takes more priority but I am thankful for every bit of time I get to spend in my Craft Room. Anyway, today I am featuring this card I recently finished. I have colored this wonderful image from Bugaboo Stamps for many weeks now but didn't get a chance to make a card until now. She is fun to color and love her style. I gathered 3 different DP's from My Mind's Eye and came up with this lovely design. I stamped the flowers on 2 different color cardstocks and cut them each. I also embossed them with my Cuttlebug, added some cute epoxy stickers and I was very pleased. The sentiment came from Stampendous, punched a border from MS punch, leaves from EK Success Punch and added 2 different colors of gems. Lastly, I did a lot of sewing on this card inside and out. My hubby said, it has a nice 70's feel to it...LOL I didn't realize that when I was putting it together but can see how it went that way. This card is entered into the following Challenges:

Not a Card but a Family Car Decal...

Howdy Crafty People out there...Hope you are having a wonderful start of the week. Finally, I am glad to feature this project that I've been wanting to do for more than a year now. I've got all the materials needed (my vinyl had been sitting forever) including the procedure on how to make this but never got into it until now...Several months ago, I purchased the Cricut Car Decal Cartridge and I am glad I did. I cut the characters in different sizes ranging from 4" to 1.5". I also cut the Bible verse to go with my design from Mickey Font cartridge. The verses Joshua 24:15 says: "But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." This is our family declaration so, I think it's perfect for this project. If you want some instructions on similar projects, there's a ton of videos from YouTube so, why not try it one day...

Ahhh, it's the end of another month and here I am trying to post this wonderful project before the next month comes...I have a friend that loves my Cardmaking and when she needs a card, she calls me to make one for her. I'm thankful to God that I have a friend who appreciates the creativity I put on each of my projects so, I was inspired to make these when she requested some "Notecards." I used white 3-inch square base card on each of them, flower image from Recollection Stamps that I colored with my Prismacolor/Sharpie markers with the "You Rock" sentiment from Stampendous, the "All kinds of Thanks" image and sentiment from Studio G Stamps, some glitters (Stickles) and several metal embellishments and Cuttlebug embossing. They came out so cute...So happy. I had to make all envelopes to coordinate the cards as well. I love them!

I purchased a boy and a girl image and made a card of both but decided to do separate post. "Not Old---Recycled Teenager" Card...

Hello there, folks! It's the start of another weekday and I am glad I found the time to finish this card. A lot of times, I make the card and had to make the envelope the next day or even longer at times. I really don't know how some of you can juggle your responsibilities with your crafting. I have family time, homeschooling my little boy, chores, and in my case and Church activities (4 to 5 days a week). Just with what I do, I am already losing sleep...LOL. But hey, I love to make cards that is why, I am still here...Anyway, in this post, I want to feature this funny image I bought from Bugaboo Stamps called "Miss B." I love coloring her with my Prismacolor Markers. She's aged but still glamorous...LOL. I used 3 DP's here and did a lot of sewing. I cut the scallop with my nesties, used my MS Small Circle Cutter for the circle die-cut, some gems, nice ribbon and a wonderful sentiment that I saw in a book and print in the computer. Not a Card but Handmade Glimmered Flowers....

Hi there, friends! Since last year, I've been wanting to make my own glimmer mists. I bought some of the items needed like bottle spray, Pearl-Ex and Perfect Pearls to name a few but didn't find the time to make them. Now finally, the time has arrived. Last week, I decided to watch several videos on "Making your own Glimmers" (a ton of them at YouTube) and how to make flowers using glimmers. This is what I came up with after buying some Folk Art Metallic Paint and combined with some water and glue (binding agent) with an addition of Pearl-Ex. I am pretty happy with the glimmer results. You will see that I made different colors and sprayed my flowers from scratch, drying it and forming the final shape. It's not very complicated but takes a lot of time due to the drying time for each flowers. Hope you like them:

To get different flower designs, I used my Cricut (Walk in my Garden) cartridge and cut 3 flower designs at 1.75", 1.40" and 1.10" sizes. I used my Gypsy here and it was a big help. They range from the 5 to 6 flower petals thus giving me variety. I had to hunt for some pearls and after checking at 4 Wal-Marts, the last one got it. Anyway, I am looking forward to including these flowers to my card creations in the future. I gotta go and hope you all have a blessed day in Jesus!

Blue Skies Ahead Ship Easel Card...

A wonderful day everyone. Last Saturday, I was asked by a friend to make her a card for her Boss that just lost a son-in-law while serving at Iraq. He was the son that his boss never had so, she wanted me to make him an encouragement card. Death is always a hard subject matter to talk about especially when making cards but for those who put their trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, death is not a means to an end but merely just the beginning of eternal life. So, I told her about the sentiment I wanted to incorporate and she approved of it. So, here's the card that I came up with. Size is 5.5 square.

Here, I used my Wall Decor and More Cricut cartridge for the first time...I've had it for a while but just not enough time to check it out (like all the other 70+ cartridges I haven't used yet...LOL). I saw some nice images here and decided to go with the ship, the clouds and the waves. You all know how difficult it is to make a manly card so, I was careful on the colors and the amount of blings and embellishments to use. Selected a couple of DP's and matted almost everything in black. It's funny because I didn't notice that there's an option to shadow in the cartridge (or should I say, I didn't see it right away because it's not in those usual function buttons that most cartridges had them on) so, I hand-cut all the shadows of the die-cut elements and did some distress inking on the die-cuts for added dimension. The sentiments were from Printworks Clearly Defined Stamps. A few more brads, gems and loads of stitching and I was done. This card is entered into the following Challenges:

Happy Birthday Old Bird Card...

Hi there, fellow Cardmakers! Today, I want to feature the card I made for a friend who celebrated his birthday just recently. I thought I would make a simple card but I tell ya, there's nothing really simple about this card. It still took me a few hours to make...I colored this wonderful image from the Dustin Pike collection with my Prismacolor/Bic markers. Is this bird cute or what? It made me wonder why I have not used it before. Anyway, the timing for this image is just perfect for this card. We recently went out with my friend and his family for swimming and what a better way to capture those fun times we had in the water but with this image. I did some inking, added some glitters to capture that shine in the water. The sentiment is from my Inkadinkado stamps and I cut some circles with my MS circle cutter and embossed with my Cuttlebug. I made this with panels of cardstocks and a small piece of DP. Now, what really took me a while was to distress the edges of each cardstocks. My Tim Holtz distressing tool did a good job though. Anyway, despite the glitters, I think I was successful in making this card as manly as possible. What do you think? This card is entered into the following challenges:

Last night, I was able to find out from the wife of my friend that he truly liked the card. She said that both of them got a kick from the sentiment and couldn't believe that I made this. I tell ya, it's nice to hear that the recipient appreciated what I made. It took away the stress from those hours spent working with the card. It was all worth it to give a piece of my labor to the people I care about...Anyway, I am hoping to make a few more cards this week. Cowgirl Tilda Card...

Yeehaw! It's been another hot, hot, day in Texas! Temps over a 100 degrees Fahrenheit is not really my favorite thing but that's what you get with living on this part of the globe. Anyway, here's one of my featured cards for today. I love this Magnolia Tilda image ever since I laid my eyes on it a while back. I certainly enjoyed coloring her with my Prismacolor/Sharpie markers and I intend to give this to a friend celebrating her birthday. I used two DP here. Lately, I am experimenting on using my DP stash since I find it difficult before to really use printed papers. I've been getting some inspiration from fellow Card makers here and there on their use of DP's and sure enjoy experimenting on the colors. So, here's what I came up with. Good morning, guys! Here I am again to feature another card that I gave to my friend on her birthday. It was a bit of a rush making it but didn't do any shortcut on this. In fact, I didn't sleep the entire night just to be able to give this on time...This is a 5 X 7 card so, it's pretty big...I used this image from High Hopes Stamps that I got a while back but have not used yet. I colored it with my Prismacolor/Bic/Sharpie markers and added some glaze and glitters for added dimension. I used 2 different kinds of DP, a sheer ribbon, Fiskars border punch and went crazy on stitching. I love this card and hope you like it too. This card is entered into the following Challenges:

Birthday Bear with Flowers Card...

It's the middle of the week again and hope that you are all having fun with your creations. I certainly like to make a card everyday like some of you can but time is just not there for me. There are things I needed to prioritize but so thankful that I can spend even a day or two in a week to get some projects done either for some occasion or just for the pleasure of doing it...Making cards is like therapy for me. I feel good putting things together and appreciates the outcome when it's done.

Anyway, here is the last of the 3 cards I made just recently for the 3 people that celebrated their birthdays. This is for an 11-year old girl and again, I used an image I got free from the Cardmaking magazine I bought way back when. The image is designed by Adam Pescott. I found this nice image I had for quite sometime but haven't used yet. I got it as a freebie when I purchased the Cardmaking magazine. It's from the designer, Adam Pescott. I used Cuttlebug embossing, MS border punch, satin ribbon, silver eyelets, different size circles with some distressing...I colored the image with my Prismacolor markers and did some inking around it. It's the middle of the week and I hope you are all having some wonderful projects done...I just recently found a site with lots of great, fun digital images to incorporate on my cards...It's Bugaboo Stamps! They had a 50% off sale going on for the month of May and I was able to afford a few of their images. One of them is what is highlighted on this card...This stick image of a couple would be great for anything that has to do with love. I colored it with my Prismacolor markers, did some Distress Inking "Tea Dye", added the hill and the grass, applied a few glitters for added dimension on the image...I also went ahead and used 3 kinds of DP on this project, some layered prima flowers with button brads, some neon green gems, a border punch from Fiskars, a sentiment from a book called "The Ultimate Guide to the Perfect Word" that I printed in my computer, a corner punch and a ton of stitching...Yes, I went crazy stitching on this project!

What a great way to share the inspiration of the scriptures through a sentiment on a card. It does not only bring a beautiful card to someone you love but assurance and peace provided by the Gospel. You can just tell that this are my kind of sentiments and looking forward to making more cards like this in the future. Hi there, ladies and gents...Last weekend, I was invited to a birthday of a 3 year old girl and I was pressed with time and actually thought of just giving a store bought card...But the cardmaker in me could not do get myself to do that so, I went ahead and made one while a few of the chores waiting for me took a backseat...Oh well! Anyway, I figured it should be something girly girl so, I used an image from my recently purchased Recollection Clear Stamps "Label Me Sweet" and used this little girl image and the cute sentiment. I got some DP scraps and stitched them with comlplimentary CS. I incorporated some satin ribbon, nestabilities for matting the image, Cuttlebug for embossing the A2 base card, some yellow gems and a border punch from Fiskars. So happy for with the way the finished card. Just turned out so cute.

Inspirational Series: Trust God Panda Easel Card...

I know, I've been away from the blogging world for quite sometime. Just the many things that a Mom should do on a day to day basis. It just never seem to end...I thank God for the strength daily. Anyway, here's a card I made for a child that is battling with cancer...A while back, Dustin Pike asked if we can all make a card for little Dylan and here's what I made for him. The image is from Dustin Pike Collection and colored with Gamsol technique and white opaque marker. Easel cards are my favorite so, what a better way to incorporate this card style to something inspirational. I also used my Sizzix dies for the grass, an I-top to customize a brad and some delicious boy DP. Went ahead and did a load of stitching on this. The sentiment is from a book called "The Ultimate Guide to the Perfect Word" and was computer generated. As always, I provided a special space for someone to write their own message inside the card. This is so fun and I hope that little Dylan enjoyed this card. It comes with a prayer that he manifest healing in his body and be used by the Lord as a testimony of His power all the days of his life...

It's Your Day Stylish Tilda Card...

A wonderful day to everyone...Right now, I would like to share with you the card that I custom-made for a friend. She adores my cards and so, when she needed one, she would come to me and describe to me who the card is for so that I can freely design something that comes close to the personality/likes/occupation of that someone special to her. This card is for her hair-stylist friend whose going to have a birthday so, as you can see, there's a comb and scissor image incorporated in the card. I got those two images from a coloring project for kids and as far as I know, it was not restricted. I printed the image small enough to blend in with the main Magnolia Tilda image in the card. I colored them using Gamsol Technique, The die-cut sentiment is from Cricut Stamping Cartridge, the mirror with a stand image are two stamped images I combined to make one design...The stand from Heidi Grace and the frame from Autumn Leaves. I inked it with distress ink to have that vintage look. I also added Prima flowers with brads in the center and die-cut leaves from MS Punch. And finally, some fancy and straight stitching to enhance the beauty of this card. I've had this Tilda image for a while but haven't used it until now...I think she is perfect for this project. The Power Behind Us Bluebird Card...

Hi ya'll...Today, I want to share with you this card I made a few weeks ago for a male friend who is physically challenged. It was his birthday and I thought of making an encouragement card. He had been paralyzed from the chest down due to an accident that happened like 3 years ago. Believing in the healing that was won by Jesus 2000+ years ago is what keeps him going and we all agree in prayer. Miracles do happen everyday and we all know that it's not going to be long for that healing to manifest completely in his body. Anyway, it was his birthday so, had to come up with a manly card (we all know how difficult it is at times to make cards for guys) and at the same time, captures the essence of our faith in the Lord. So, here's what I came up with. The bird image was embossed with Blue Tinsel embossing powder came from TPC Studio and so as the sentiment. I incorporated an adorable border from EK Success, black eyelets, Cuttlebug embossing and some stitching. I tried to stick to simplicity as any bling I would add would make it more girlish...LOL So at the end, I really love it! Simple and clean. This card is entered into this challenge:

Hey there, fellow-Crafters! A couple of weeks ago, I had to make several cards for all of my friends who happened to celebrate their birthdays in the same weekend. Phew! I was busy making at least 5 different cards since I am not the type to give similar cards so, it was a lot of work, I tell you, and sleepless nights too. But I was amazed that I was able to do it considering the pretty heavy schedule with Church and work. Anyway, here's a card that I made taking a bit of inspiration from a Card magazine...I sure made it my own by using a different image, different color combinations and adding some embellishments. Flower imade are from Paper Studio, sentiment from Printworks stamps, border from Fiskars, leaves from MS Punch, stickles (glitter), some inking and lots of stitching. Happy weekend, crafty-people. Here I am trying to get this card here before the month ends...I made this card for a two-year old girl's birthday. I have this bear image colored for many months but was unable to make a card with it. Needless to say, I was in a rush and had to come up with something and walah, having one prepared truly helps a lot. I began to just gather materials and planned it out as I went. I don't recall where this Digi image is from but I colored it with my Bic/Sharpie markers with some stickles (glitter). Die cut some flowers, used an MS Punch for my border, sweet gems for blings, sentiment from Clearly-Defined Stamps and finally, lots of stitching...

Hi there, friends! It's time for a his and her baby shower card. I got invited by a friend of mine in the Church to her daughter in-law's Baby Shower Party and I had to make a card for a baby girl. Later on, I decided to make one for a baby boy as well so below, you will see how I was able to make this pretty clean, simple-looking cards. Hi again, everyone! Last week (Holy Week), I had a lot of Birthday parties to attend and had to make several cards for each of the celebrants. Among them are these 2 cards that I gave to twin sisters. I decided to use two sets of colors based on the color of the candle sets that I gave them as gifts. I handcut the flowers from a designer paper and matted them with a coordinating cardstock for stability. As you can see, I also incorporated some embossing, used a Fiskars Border Punch, silk ribbon, gems and stickles (glitter) for added dimension on the flower. The sentiment is from TPC Studio. It was a bit of a rush making these 2 cards. It still took a lot of time to make which caught me by surprise since I didn't have to stamp an image and color it. I don't know why but I simply could not make myself do a super simple card...LOL Anyway, I added the flowers on the gift bags using my Gypsy on my Cricut machine. Scripture Series: Whole World in Your Hands...

A great day to each and every crafter out there. I am amazed at all the creations I see when I go to different sites but most of all, I don't know how some can make cards daily. I am not denying I would love to do be able to do that but the many roles I play in the family as a wife and mom, as a Church worker, my part-time work and time with friends would make that impossible. So, I just have to set my priorities straight and get what's most important done then, sit down and start working on my favorite hobby...Cardmaking!

Anyway, this is the 5th card in my Scripture Series and I must say, I am proud of how this turned out. The most difficult thing I encounter in making cards is digging on the supplies that I want to use for my project. The most challenging one is finding a designer paper or cardstock that will satisfy my taste. But after the project is done and you love the outcome, it makes all the effort worth it. I cut the scallop and border with MS punches, did a lot of stitching all over, stamped both the sentiment and the image and colored it with my Bic/Shaprie markers. Added glitter and gems for dimension. The stamps are from Stampendous. The message has it's bearing from this scripture passage:

"The earth is the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. For He hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods." (Psalm 24:1-2)

Scripture Series: I'm a Christ Follower...

Here's my 4th card for the Scripture Series I started last month. I don't have a lot of time to make cards so, it's taking a while to get all the images I want to include in the series. I don't know what lay-out to use for this one but like all the other cards I created, I plan as I go...This card has it's bearing from this Bible passage:

Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me." (Luke 9:23)

I used 2 Cuttlebug embossing dies for this and lots of stitching...The image is colored with my Bic/Sharpie Markers and added glitters for added dimension and I used 2 kinds of hearts brads. Stamped image and sentiment from Stampendous.

You're Purr-fect Shabby Card (Red and Pink Flower Variation)...

Hey there, fellow Crafters! Hope you are having a wonderful weekend. Anyway, I don't make a lot of Shabby card style mainly because it's not my normal style. I tend to go for a combination of fun and cute or graphic and clean. But I do appreciate this style so, when I find some inspiration at some magazines or books, I make it my own by changing few or several elements and come up with something that I am truly proud of like these 2 cards featured here. I totally adore this girl with a cat image from High Hopes stamps. Stamped a couple of image and colored them differently with Gamsol technique. I made a similar card style for them with just a slight difference in color combinations. I did lots of inking in here and some fancy stitches. I used an MS Border Punch for added dimension, brads, gems, layered prima flowers and glittered them for added texture and bling. Here's one colorful project I want to share with you today. I saw this rubber Ballet stamps on sale one day and just fell in love with it. I came home, stamped an image and tried coloring them right away with my Bic/Sharpie/Prismacolor markers. I didn't really know at first what lay-out to use. After several days, I just gathered some materials together and decided the design as I went through mixing and matching colors. Custom-Made: I Love Tennis Birthday Card...

I have a Church friend that always supports my Cardmaking. She comes to me when she needs a card to give to friends, co-workers, Boss and family. She tells me the details I needed to know yet gives me freedom to do my own design...as per her words "She trust my artistic judgment." I thank God for friends like her who gives me inspiration to do my best in every project. So, here's the scenario...Her sister celebrates a Birthday and she is into Tennis and likes purple. I ask to see a picture of her and this is what I come up with. I used Everyday Paper Doll Cricut Cartridge, some prima flowers, gems and a wonderful sentiment. I embossed the background panel and I was happy about it. I stitch around the card and it sure accomplished the look I wanted to achieve.

Not a Card...But Cupcake Pops!

Several months ago, I posted my very first Cake Pops and I can't believe it took 3 months before I am able to make another batch of these delicious, popular with kids delight. It felt good to see those kids that were with my son's Sunday school enjoy every bite of those pops yet I felt bad for those big kids that I was unable to share it with. I wanted to make more yet time had always been an issue to me...It took my son's daily persuation to get me started with the process. This time, I challenged myself to make a Cupcake Pop instead of the traditional Cake (Ball) Pop. I thought each time I would make one, it has to be an improvement from the first. It was not very easy to get the shape right. Then, dipping into 2 different candy melts needs a lot of patience. Making these was not complicated but you do need a lot of time, dedication and patience. Hope you enjoy this "yummy" pictures...

Scripture Series: I'll be a Sunbeam for Him Card...

Here's the 3rd card from the Scripture Series that I started several weeks ago (Wow! Time flew by that fast?). I am determined to make cards out of the Scripture inspired stamps that I got from Stampendous a while back. The theme for this card came from Luke 8:16-18:

“No one lights a lamp and hides it in a jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, he puts it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light. For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open. Therefore consider carefully how you listen. Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has will be taken from him.”

Unlike all the other cards I made so far, this one didn't take as much time mainly because I already had the stitching done a while back and I was surprised I was able to use what could have been a scrap to embellish this card. I colored with my Bic/Sharpie markers, gems, stickles (glitter) and a MS punch border...I think it came out pretty good. I entered this card to this challenge:

Birthday Ballerina Tilda Card...

A friend of mine has a little girl who celebrated her 6th Birthday. She's into dressing up like a ballerina for most of the time so, what better way to incorporate an image that has resemblance on her. I've had this Tilda image for a year or so but never had a chance to do anything with it mainly because I don't have a lot of time to spare doing cards but then, I love to keep purchasing images...(Yes, the story of my life...LOL). I colored the image with my Bic/Sharpie/Prismacolor markers and added some stickles on her for added dimension. There's embossing, nice border from MS Punch, dew drops and lots of stitching. The sentiment is from Studio G stamps. I've entered this card into this challenge:

Scripture Series: You Call Each Star By Name Card...

Here's no. 2 in the series of Scripture Cards I wanted to complete. What a nice way to incorporate the powerful inspiration of God's word in a card we can give our loveones. How I wish I have plenty of time to just finish the series at once but thankful that I am able to start, just have to stick to it whenever I get the chance. This card's sentiment has it's bearing in Psalm 147:4..."He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name." Oh, the inspiration that God's word imparts! So awesome...

In this card, I love the idea of incorporating shades of brown. I didn't realize it's one of my favorite colors but I realized I'm using them a lot on my projects. So, yes, brown is one of my favorite colors...LOL I colored this Stampendous image with my Prismacolor markers, did some inking, fasten some eyelets, lots of embossing, borders designs from Fiskars, ribbon, stickles (glitter) and quite a bit of stitching...I'm so proud of this card. I entered this card to this challenge:

Scripture Series: God Loved You and Me Card!

I've been wanting to embark on a series of Scripture Cards after I bought the "Inspired Icons" stamp from Stampendous. I absolutely love every single image that's in there so, here is the very first one in the series I will make. This sentiment has it's bearing from John 3:16..."For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." Oh what a blessing we have just by that passage.

Here, I used my Bic/Sharpie markers to color, a couple of nice ribbons, stickles (glitter), gems and a great deal of stitching. I can tell already that I am going to have fun making this series...Hope you like them too. I entered this card to this challenge:

Birthday Cake Monkey Card...

I just love Dustin Pike's images especially this monkey hanging with a cake. It's so cute. So, I incorporated it into the card we gave to my step son and I am pretty happy with the result. I used my Cuttlebug to emboss, Ek Success border punch , Nestabilities, stamps, eyelets and Cuttlebug corner die. I colored the image wih my Bic/Sharpie markers. I like how the borders gave character to this card. It was a perfect card for the occasion. With a bit of stitching and stamping, this card came nice...I thank God for all His inspiration when I feel so out of ideas. Thank you, Father God!

Birthdays are my favorite occasion to make cards for. There's just so many images that are birthday oriented like this cupcake that I used from Paper Studio. I colored it with my Marvy Uchida Wet Embossing Marker and added some Stickles (glitter). With the perfect ribbon and dew drops, this project is a winner. Owl Always Love You Card....

Here's another totally sweet card for those owl lovers. The moment I saw this stamp from Craft Smart, I just couldn't wait to get them on a project. I stamp it using my Marvy Uchida markers ang gave them some google eyes. Oh, I just love it! I used several stamps to create some background on the 3 strips and I am very happy with the result. Used my Nestabilities to create and emboss the octagon shapes. I just added a heart gem, some glitters and an aqua ribbon and this card came out amazing.

Oh, I know...Love is in the air and so, I have made this super sweet card from my favorite Changito Monkey from Stampendous. I colored him with my Bic/Prismacolor markers, embossed with my Cuttlebug, border from MS punch, cut the scallop circle with my Nestabilities, sentiment inside the card from Stampendous and sentiment in front of the card from Art Warehouse. To add some cool dimensions, used some ribbon and dew drops...I had fun making this and hope you like it too...

Loving this "Out of this world" theme cards. I am glad I was able to put some time into making a couple of cards this week even through my busy schedule...Hope I can craft all day but there are more important things to take care with especially sharing the love of Jesus to everyone who wishes to know Him, taking care of my family and then comes crafting! Make a Wish Princess Charming Card...

I made this card a while back for a little girl who turned 4 years old...She had a Princess Themed Party and this card worked perfectly. I was very satisfied at the outcome of this card as I would say, I didn't have a complete idea what I wanted to do with it when I began putting all the materials together. Everything is just trial and error to see what works best (that's what I do with all my cards anyway...LOL). I used my Cuttlebug to emboss the base card (A2 size). Then, I stamped the flower background (Stampendous) many times in order to achieve a continues pattern and so glad it came out good. I actually colored my image before anything else and based it on the celebrants favorite color...purple! The stamps (princess, castle and sentiments) are from Recollections and colored with my Bic/Sharpie/Prismacolor markers. Ribbon, gems and some inking completed this charming card.

A friend of mine asked me to create a sympathy card that's encouraging and highlights a scripture message. With the help of flower stamps (Autumn Leaves), butterfly stamps (Studio G), sentiment (Clear Art), border punch (Fiskars), a pre-cut card, and a wonderful stitch from my new sewing machine (I love it!), this is what I came up with. I decided to add some gems and make 2 similar cards with just a slight difference in gems and base cards.

Not a Card....But Sweet, Yummy Cake Pops!

Merry CHRISTmas Everyone! Yes, it's my favorite time of the year...So many fond memories of my childhood coming back to me at this season. Knowing the true meaning of this day gave me a deeper meaning for living. It's not all about the gifts, the nice clothes, the food, parties and meeting up with your family and friends that is most important...not even the crazy shopping that I enjoy a lot. It's knowing that my Savior Jesus came to give me hope and love despite my rebellion and imperfections, He loves me! And the good news is that He loves you too! All we need to do is to make a decision to accept the gift He gave us for our salvation....Himself!

Anyway, I have sent handmade Christmas cards to all my friends but looking on giving goodies everyone will enjoy and I am happy to have come across Ms. Angie Dudley, author of the book "Cake Pops." I was trying to decide on whether to buy her book and had to see her video teaching how to make Cake Pops...Soon, I find myself paying for the book and went to the store to gather the ingredients I needed.
