Hello there, Crafty Peeps! Here to bring you the project that I made for our Family Friendly/Inspirational Challenge at Word Art Wednesday (WAW). We have another Scripture Word Art that is free for you to download at the WAW site and it comes from Psalm 16:11 and it says, "Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore." We are living in this day and time where there is no second guessing the "path of life." John 14:5-7 recorded this conversation between the apostles and Jesus, "Thomas said to him, "Lord, we don't know where you are going, so how can we know the way?" Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him." Jesus made known to us who He truly is---the Way, the Truth and the Life. He also revealed to us the heart of God! He died on our behalf to redeem us from the bondage that Adam plunged us into. Through Christ' finished work at the Cross (His death, burial and resurrection), we have true freedom and a restored fellowship with our Father in heaven.
Yet aside from our redemption, He also prepared an eternal dwelling place for us which in radiance and beauty is truly unimaginable. Every tear this life brought us will be wiped away and replaced by a life of perfect love, joy and peace in the presence of our Creator, our Lord and Savior. Revelation 21:3-5 gave us this promise which says, "And I
heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place
is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his
people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” He
who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then
he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” I know that there's a lot of things that needed to transpire before we arrive to the eternal bliss the Lord spoke to us about. My heart cries heavy each day watching the deception that the culture these days webbed in our society which many people could not see nor even perceived. But as a child of the Most High God, it's crystal clear! Many confessed intellectuals have been totally blind. And why so? Because they have rebelled against God and considered themselves their own gods. Selfishness, greediness, lust of the eyes and of the flesh and pride of life have ruled their hearts that God gave them over to their self-destruction. My spirit cries to the living God for our nation! My soul gets weary from the burden of everything that is physically unfolding. From abortion to sodomy, from evil leaders and their minions to the destruction of many countries due to their hidden and wicked agenda. The promotion of division, destruction of life and property and the rise of false teachers who deceived many---YES, I get so tired! There is no other hope for our nation UNLESS GOD INTERVENES! I have come to the point when my cry is going to be solely directed to Him! I will not depend on anyone else to save our nation but I will call only upon the Living God. He will lead me to the people who holds true to His service, they that uphold His Word, and I will be of support to them. And for every victory---big or small, I shall thank God alone! Our nation need to refrain from people worshiping (Idolatry) and every God-fearing individual should call upon the Lord alone 24/7. The Lord promised us eternal life (free from death and evil) which is our blessed hope but in order to live through these critical days, we should keep our eyes focused on the Lord Jesus Christ. Hebrews 12:1-3 encourages us with these words, "Therefore,
since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us
throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles.
And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing
our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set
before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the
right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart." I may grow tired of the battle but it does not mean I gave up the fight. I don't have enough strength on my own but the One that lives inside of me has unlimited strength, therefore, I will not run out nor ran away from the battle! I know many of you feel the same way but don't lose hope, give them all to God and witness His deliverance! And for everything, we carefully, give Him back all the glory...
For this Card, I used an image from Sassy Cheryl's Stamps called "Travel at Your Own Pace" which I paper-pieced and colored with my ProMarkers/Prismacolor markers. The base is Kraft, cut and scored to make a 5.5 inches square card. The DP's are from Pebbles and Paper Studio, the die-cut fence by MS Punch and the white nail head gems are from Imaginisce. I made the clouds using a stencil from Hero Arts, Distress Ink (Tumbled Glass) and outlining with an EK Success Journaling pen. I also inked the fence with a Vintage Photo Distress Ink. For the final touch, I added some regular and fancy stitching. This wonderful lay-out was inspired by a card I saw a while back from Tracy McDonald and I thought it would be perfect to highlight this week's Scripture Word Art.
