Not a Card but a Decorated Candle for a Missionary Friend--Join us for a new MayzyArt Challenge!

Hello there, guys and gals!  I have not been around for a while due to very hectic schedule but I'm back to feature my project for a New MayzyArt Challenge.  I love cards and been showcasing fancy cards the past 4 Challenges since we launched but this time, it's "Anything but a Card."  I looked at all the things I knew how to do and this came immediately to mind.  I've done many candles late last year and had received lots of compliments from friends.  I also have a friend that I want to bless with this project because of her heart for Missions.  She and a few others from our Church just came back from their trip to Rwanda, Africa to feed 5,000 meals to hungry children and at the same time, feed their spirit with the knowledge of  Jesus Christ and of His Gospel.  She loves to wear her Indian clothing because aside from Rwanda,  India is also one of the countries we support for Missions.  Hence, this project is inspired by her and for her.

So, in this project, I used MayzyArt's "Madhuri."  Isn't she pretty?  I added some lines to her skirt to form those diamond patterns and colored her with my ProMarker/Prismacolor Markers.  I added some glitters (Stickles) for the ground she stands on.  I printed a quote from Amy Carmichael for a perfect message (Googled it) and added my friend's name and a personal message.  Once everything is ready, I transferred it to a 3 X 9 white scented Candle.  As you can see, I also added a ribbon and a scalloped tag with gem, ready to give it to her in a couple of days.  I can only hope she likes this.  So, what do y'all  think?  This Candle Project is entered into the following Challenges:

1.  My Mum's Craft Shop featuring "No Cards Allowed"
2.  Crafty Creations featuring  "Free for All"
3.  One Stitch at a Time featuring "Anything Goes"
4.  That Craft Place featuring "Anything Goes"
5.  Lexi's Creations featuring "For a Friend"
6.  Dream Valley featuring "Anything but a Square"
7.  One Stop Craft featuring "Travel"
8.  The Poodles Parlour featuring "Use a Digi Stamp"
