CAS Series: Dropping a Line Fishing Kitty Card

It's the last day of the year and I'm highlighting a few more projects I made this year.  Been so busy that this card had to wait till the last day of the year to post...LOL  Anyway, this is another card that a friend of mine had asked me to make for her relative.  The main image is from Meljen's Digi Stamps that I colored with my ProMarker/Prismacolor markers.  The base is an A2 Kraft card that comes with an envelope from Paper Studio.  I did some embossing using one of my Cuttlebug folders, added a ribbon from my stash and my crochet flower ( find them in MY ETSY Store HERE).  I added a brad in the center of the flower and inked the image using Broken China Distress Ink.  The sentiment is from Studio G Stamps.  Lastly, I stitched all over this card.  Pretty cool!

Sharing with you the wonderful message of God's Word found in James 1:12 which says, " Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him."  In this world, we are in no doubt going to encounter many trials.  Some may even be too hard to bear to the point of hopelessness.  We will be pressured on every side and our faith will be attacked in every direction.  We need to be grounded in the Word of God and saturate ourselves with every promise that God has given us.   These days are so evil that many people who were teaching sound Biblical doctrines are now deceived beyond reason.  God's crown of glory and honor are not found here on earth but to live forever in His presence is His eternal gift to us.  When trials come our way, always remember that what awaits us on the other side is far greater than what this world can offer and because of that, our heart should be filled with joy and peace even in the midst of hardships and chaos, firmly grounded in the finished work of Christ.
