Scripture Series: Be Ye Stedfast Unmoveable Card---A Family Friendly Challenge Happening at Word Art Wednesday!

Hello everyone...This is a delayed post but just want to feature my creation for our Challenge at Word Art Wednesday (WAW).  A new challenge began yesterday and it features our Scripture Word Art that you can download for free at the WAW site.  It's taken from 1 Corinthians 15:58 which tells us, "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord." Consider why God wrote this message for all believers...Why do we need to be steadfast (firm, unwavering) and immovable (rooted, situated, established, fixed) in our faith and work in the Lord?  That is because many have tried to uproot us from the Truth that was revealed to us by way of the Cross.  Jesus warned us against those kinds of people in Matthew 7:15 which says, "“Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves."  Have you asked yourself why there's an all-out war on Christianity all over the world?  Why there's a progressive attack on the name of Jesus,  His Divinity, His Word under the conspiracy put up by famous and influential people in our government, media, entertainment and other pillars of our society?  Why senseless, unproductive, divisive and perverted ideas are being sanctioned against our Constitution bypassing the will of the people that will lead to the death of a civilized society?  I submit to you that all of these aims to silence and instill fear to everyone whose trust is in the Lord!  The devil and his minions know that if they can get believers to doubt God's promises and focus on the chaos in this world, they can get them to compromise God's Word and eventually render them ineffective to fulfill their true purpose.

Many of you may not understand the urgency of my messages in this Blog.  And why these kind of messages?  Many out there are more skilled to write yet the Lord uses someone like me to deliver His message.  Honestly, I don't know why but the Lord knows my heart.  He does not look at anyone's talent and abilities.  He looks at our obedience!  God's Word is available to anyone and everyone who wanted to inquire of Him their origin,  their  purpose while on earth and their destination after this life.  Tucked in the Scripture is a demonstration of God's great love for mankind and His Way to Salvation by faith solely in His Only Son, Jesus Christ!  It also reveals the events that have unfolded, currently unfolding and will unfold about the victory that awaits those who have been faithful to the Son of God.  While the believers victory is certain, so as the wrath of God that is going to come to devour the wicked and the rebellious.  I am humbled that Jesus have chosen me to be among those that see the direction our country and this world is heading for.  Because many have hardened their hearts to God, they knowingly or unknowingly placed themselves as pawns by the devil to carry out his filthy work which ends in sure defeat. They may deny and be outraged by their deception but such is the position of someone who does not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ (Born-again, John 3:3).  Whether they like it or not, they are willing soldiers of the devil.  So, why do I have to share these messages to you and sacrificed much needed sleep, time and effort to convey the message of the Gospel in our time?  That's because in the middle of our hopeless and darkened situation, the Lord wants to provide hope for those who would like a WAY-OUT!  Whatever your situation is and no matter how far you've wandered away from the love of God, He wants you to go back home to Him.  While we are still alive and before the Church (Ekklesia, "Called Out Ones) is taken away (Rapture of the Church), the Ark of Mercy is still open for them who wants to come in and be saved from the Wrath that will befall the ungodly.  Without the preaching of the Word, no one will be convicted of sin.  Without one's acknowledgement of his transgressions, they'll be no need for a Savior. Without Jesus, there's no forgiveness of Sin and everyone will suffer the ultimate penalty of ETERNAL DEATH (eternal separation from God).  That is why, loving a person alone is not enough unless we love and live under the guidance of the Word of God.  I may not see earthly rewards for my faithfulness to the task the Lord assigned me with in this life but my faith is rooted in His Word and He told me that my work for Him is not in vain.  When the Lord promised us His rewards, we can be sure He's going to deliver.   I want to share the following verses to encourage every member of the Body of Christ (Church) to get out there and fulfill the work God assigned you to do.  Despite the chaos and persecution, He wants us to locate the wounded and those crying out for help and deliverance...I believe that this is the very reason why we are still on earth at this time.  Don't shrink back---fight the good fight of faith!

"Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace? For we know him who said, “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” and again, “The Lord will judge his people.”It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Remember those earlier days after you had received the light, when you endured in a great conflict full of suffering. Sometimes you were publicly exposed to insult and persecution; at other times you stood side by side with those who were so treated. You suffered along with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting possessions. So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. For, “In just a little while, he who is coming will come and will not delay.” And, “But my righteous one will live by faith. And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.” But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved." (Hebrews 10:19-39)

For this Card, I used an image from Sugar Pea Designs from the Set "Bushel and a Peck" and colored it with my ProMarker/Prismacolor markers.  The base is white CS, cut and scored to make a 5.5 inches square card.  The sides were shaped using an MS Punch.  The DP's were all from one of my fave sets from Paper Studio called "Barnwood Pretty."  I stamped a few more images using my stamps from Inkadinkado called "Flourishes" and added some glitters all over the card using Stickles (Crystal).  Lastly, I stitched all over this creation.  I think it turned out pretty good.
