Scripture Series: The God of Israel Card---It's our Family Friendly Challenge at Word Art Wednesday. Come Join Us!

Hi there, friends!  This is coming out late but just want to highlight another card that I made for this week's Challenge at Word Art Wednesday (WAW).  The Word of God is rich with inspiration and direction that all of us needed to navigate this journey called "Life."  This weeks free Scripture Word Art comes from Psalm 72:18 which says, "Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things."  This verse takes us to one of the profound declarations of Who God is---the Creator of heaven and earth, the God of Israel, and our Lord forever and ever.  King Solomon, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, authored this Psalm.  He looked beyond his own reign to declare the upcoming reign of Jesus the Messiah, whose kingdom extends to the ends of the earth and is greater than any human empire.

The first time Jesus stepped into this world, He came under humble circumstances.  Though the Son of God, He lived this life free from the riches of the world and demonstrated to us the inside-outside, upside-down ways of the Kingdom of God and what "True Love" really meant---UNSELFISH!  He proclaimed God's Truth without compromise and gave sight, healing and restoration not only to our mortal bodies but to our spirits that were darkened and separated from our Heavenly Father.  The price of our freedom from the bondage of Sin required His blood to be poured.  For His very life to be taken as ransom for every human being---even those who chanted, "Crucify Him!"  And yes, He died!  Yet, on the third day, just like He said, He rose from the grave.  This time,  to never die again.

This is every believer's great news!  He who died and rose again will come back to fulfill every Word of God that was spoken about Him.  Revelation 11:15 declares, "The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he will reign for ever and ever."  Jesus will come back the second time around.  But unlike the first time, He will come with great power and glory to set up His earthly kingdom for a thousand years (Millennial Reign of Christ).  Israel will finally acknowledge Him as their God and He will fulfill every promise He made to this nation, His people, and to countless many that placed their trust in what Jesus accomplished through the Cross.  Everyone that chose to rebel against Him will have no part in this Kingdom and so as all the works of the enemy as Satan is bound for that time period.  It's a time of peace, joy and righteousness---PERFECT PEACE, UNSTOPPABLE JOY and TRUE RIGHTEOUSNESS!  JESUS CHRIST only does wonderful things!  Everyone who believed and trusted Him in our time of great trials and sufferings can say "AMEN" to the reality of this Truth.  For we have seen His goodness beyond what our physical eyes could.  1 Peter 1:8-9 tells us, "Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls."  The spirit of God inside of us rejoices for what is to come.  I Corinthians 2:9 declares, "But as it is written, "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined the things that God has prepared for those who love him." When we anticipate His worldwide rule, it absolutely fills our hearts with hope.  For our God only does wonderful things!  Want to share a few more verses from the Prophet, Daniel, to encourage us to hold on to the promises we have in Christ Jesus, the God of Israel, our Lord,  as we reign with Him in His coming earthly Kingdom and beyond.

"In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever."  (Daniel 2:44)

“In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed."  (Daniel 7:13-14)

"Then the sovereignty, power and greatness of all the kingdoms under heaven will be handed over to the holy people of the Most High. His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all rulers will worship and obey him."  (Daniel 7:27)

For this Card, I gave my digi stamps a break and used a clear stamp (no clue from which company) to stamp and fussy-cut the circles at the center of the flowers.  I used several chalk inks from Color Box Cat's Eye.  I stamped the tiny sentiments using Studio112 stamps.  The base is a white, pre-cut A7 size from Paper Studio.  The DP is from my scraps and the washi tapes are from Recollections.  I stitched all over this card including the stems and stamped the leaves with a clear stamp (no idea which company).  For final touch, I added some cute, hot pink buttons from Paper Studio.
