Chase Your Dream - Butterfly Edwin Easel Card...

Hi y'all!  I can't believe weeks had passed since my last post...Sure days are passing by so quickly and as much as I wanted to do more, I've got very little time to do this amidst all my other commitments first to fellowship with the Lord and other believers and also my family and also work (yes, I am working part-time now) and the rest had to fit on whatever time is left.  Anyway, crafting is my my favorite hobby right now especially making cards so, I am happy to make some cards the past couple of weeks.  Three of them are Magnolia Tilda images which I love a lot.  Here, you will see the image of Edwin from Magnolia Chasing Butterflies collection.  This card is also entered at these challenges:

1.  Cute Card Thursday featuring Whateva!
2.  Saturday Challenge #95 featuring "It's a Man's World"
3.  Little Red Wagon featuring Circles, circles, cirles

CHASE YOUR DREAM - BUTTERFLY EDWIN EASEL CARD:
I have several Magnolia images and most of them are Tilda...This is one of my two Edwin images and he is totally adorable...I can see my little 4-year old boy in him.  I used my Bic, Sharpie on his clothes and the fence and Prismacolor markers on his skin and face.  Nestabilities for the fancy shape inked with Distress inks.  If you look closer, you will notice that the flowers in the fence are glazed as well.

CHASE YOUR DREAM - BUTTERFLY EDWIN EASEL CARD (WHEN CLOSE):
This is how the card appears as I put them inside the envelope and recieved initially by a recipient. Lots of stitching done in this card and Cuttlebug embossing added great dimension.  The butterflies here are from Cuttlebug die and embossing set.  Stickles made the butterlies glitter together with some dew drops.

CHASE YOUR DREAM - BUTTERFLY EDWIN EASEL CARD (MESSAGE SPACE):
I love this style card as I can personalize it even more by writing my own message on this space shown.  I love that this card can be displayed and treasured for a long time.  The sentiment is from TPC Studio.  Placed some brads for accent as well.

CHASE YOUR DREAM - BUTTERFLY EDWIN EASEL CARD (WITH ENVELOPE):
Here, you can see this special Easel Card with a handmade envelope-box at  .25-inch thick.  I used DCWV card stock for the envelope and decorated it to coordinate with my card...I think it came out so cute...Thanks for visiting and hope you like this and feel free to browse on the other cards I made in this blog...If you find inspiration at all, please leave me a comment.  I love hearing from you, guys!

Dear Lord Jesus, thanks for the time you allowed me to do what I enjoy doing and for always supplying me with inspiration daily.  Help me use this talent to glorify you always!

Butterfly-Floral Swim Tilda...

Some may think that this card is a bit late for summer but hey, if you live in Texas, it's still hot, hot, hot here!  I still see kids everywhere all over the city enjoying swimming at pools and a lot are still enjoying those Water Parks.  So, I thought this Tilda is just perfect for our humid days around here.  This card is entered in this challenge:

BUTTERFLY-FLORAL SWIM TILDA:
I am so excited to finally incorporate one of my Asian Cuttlebug folders to embossed this card.   The stiching added to the over-all beauty of the card and of course, this very cute Magnolia Tilda image that I colored with my Bic, Sharpie and Prismacolor Markers.  Used Nestabilities to mat her and used distress ink around her.  The border punch is from Martha Stewart and the flowers are cut from designer paper, "My Mind's Eye."  Used Cuttlebug dies and embossing folder for the Butterfly and lots of stickles for sparkles.  Three dew drops finished this project.

BUTTERFLY-FLORAL SWIM TILDA (COOL LAYERS):
This card is heavy and thick from all the embellishments and sure am proud how bright this card turned out to be...

BUTTERFLY-FLORAL SWIM TILDA (INSIDE):
Loaded with more stitching inside  and so happy how that flower and embossing added beauty inside this card.

BUTTERFLY-FLORAL SWIM TILDA WITH ENVELOPE:
Had to make the envelope .25 inch thick to accomodate the size and thickness of this card.  Used DCWV cardstock and added a flower to coordinate with the card...Oh, so pretty!

Relax-Flower Tilda Card...

I have adored Magnolia Tilda images for a long time now and never thought I would be able to get one as they are not exactly affordable.  Surprisingly, I am able to collect a few of them and just didn't get a chance to make cards out of them...I guess, just don't have enough time but these past few weeks, I made three and this is the first of them...This card is entered in this challenge:

RELAX-FLOWER TILDA:
I colored this Magnolia Tilda images  with my Bic, Sharpie and Prismacolor pencils.  I love how colors put life into an image and after adding those stickles in her dress and the water, I am just so pleased.  There is Cuttlebug embossing over the base card.  The flowers were cut from "My Mind's Eye designer paper accentuated by stickles.  Border punch from EK Success and finished it up with ribbon and dew drops.

RELAX-FLOWER TILDA (COOL LAYERS):
This card is pretty heavy with all the layers of papers and embellishments...My kind of card!

RELAX-FLOWER TILDA (INSIDE):
More Cuttlebug border embossing...Nice touch!

RELAX-FLOWER TILDA WITH ENVELOPE:
I had to make a perfect envelope that coordinates and accomodates the thickness of this card and I love how the envelope came out...It's .25 inch thick and card fits perfectly...I am so proud of how this lay-out worked-out.  One of my favorite creations.

Happy Birthday Yummy Sundae Card...

Here's a birthday card I made out of a dollar image I saw at Michael...I thought this sundae came out yummy after coloring it with chocolate shades...With Cuttlebug and Nestabilities dies, this card looks better than ever.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY YUMMY SUNDAE:
I decided to glaze the strawberry and I think it turned out good.  The border punch is from EK success and and the bow was from a ribbon that I had for a long time and have not used yet...And to add some sparkles, I used Diamond stickles on the image...And for the final touch, some dew drops.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY YUMMY SUNDAE (COOL LAYERS):
Oh, the wonders of pop-dots...I love making my projects appear 3D...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY YUMMY SUNDAE (INSIDE):
More cool borders made this space perfect.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY YUMMY SUNDAE WITH ENVELOPE:
