Before anything else, I am very grateful for another year the Lord blessed us with...Our country had been through so much for nearly eight years now. It was strategically and purposely harmed by people who would like to remove it from the position it was originally established as a Godly nation. This work had been going on much longer than that but the attack on our religious freedom and constitutional rights had been non-stop the past eight years and still going. Yet I have seen the hand of the Lord and believed that He heard our prayers (His people) when we prayed/called for His help (2 Chronicles 7:14) especially during the course of our latest Presidential election. He saved us from the destruction that the forces of darkness was prepared to unleash in order to demonize this nation. God stepped in and destroyed the plans of the enemy. They were in complete shocked and didn't know what hit them. But God's people knew! IT WAS THE POWER OF GOD! (I say, "Thank you, Jesus!")
However, it is important to understand that our hope does not come from any man. No person can do anything unless the God of heaven and earth enables him/her to do so. No one is capable of saving this country---but GOD! Last November, the final two presidential candidates gave me very little to no hope in man's leadership until I saw the power of God broke through the darkness. What people taught would be an easy win for someone (whose satanic and abominable acts and affiliation is beyond words) miraculously turned into an upsetting defeat. (Praise the Lord!) Because of that, I have every reason to rejoice and expect great and mighty things happening in this country despite the efforts of the outgoing leaders to wreak havoc to this nation, our allies and the world as a whole using every bit of power they have left. What they don't realize is that they don't have power on their own. Like their father (Satan), they are defeated and no weapon they wage against God's people shall prosper. Isaiah 54:16-17 tells us, “See, it is I who created the blacksmith who fans the coals into flame and forges a weapon fit for its work. And it is I who have created the destroyer to wreak havoc; no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the LORD." Unless the Lord allows it, they're powerless against them whose faith is in the finished work of Jesus Christ at the Cross.
So as we welcome the New Year, let us thank God for every blessing as well as the the physical and spiritual victory He has prepared for us. Let us lift up in prayer the upcoming leadership in our national, local and state levels. Let us go outside the four walls of our Churches and be involved in all pillars of our society and saturate them with the fear (reverential) and knowledge of God. Use every social media opportunities to tell the Truth (God's Word) and stand against political correctness and worldly tolerance. If you are a child of God (Born-again, John 3:3), BE BOLD, BE STRONG and REFUSE TO BE SILENT! It is time to take our country back and stand with God's chosen nation, Israel! I would like to share some of these wonderful verses to empower us to live and proclaim God's Truth in this day and time.
"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
"Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.” (John 14:6-7)
"When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. He will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you. All that the Father has is mine; therefore I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you (John 16:13-15)
"For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.” Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened.” But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander. For it is better, if it is Godʼs will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil." (1 Peter 3:12-17)
For this Card, I used an image from Recollections (Label Me Sweet) and Stampers Anonymous (Crazy Things). I colored some parts with my Touch Five Markers and the rest were done with one of my fave techniques---Paper-piecing (Learn it HERE). I also incorporated another technique I love which is Fussy Cutting (Shown HERE). If you are familiar with my style/creations, these two wonderful crafting techniques are commonly seen in my projects. This is a simple Birthday card but I love how the colors and patterns gave it the "Wow" factor... I think it's wonderful!
