Enjoy Nature Fall Tilda...

Hello Fellow Crafters...I trust that each one is enjoying a nice Labor Day crafting or relaxing...Well, I'm stuck in my computer trying to upload several cards that I made the past few weeks and didn't have the time to post.  Busy, busy, busy, I tell you.  But you will see several projects that I did the past few days and hope to hear what you think about them.  This card is entered into this Challenge:

ENJOY NATURE FALL TILDA:
I just received my Cindy Loo Cricut cartridge and decided to cut a nice tree image there and incorporate that in this project...Winter is on it's way and always love the colors it brings as well as the transition from super hot weather here to some cold...I kinda like that!  I know that some people love summer but being here in Texas, we have the hot, hot summer so, I'm happy to feel the cold air coming soon.  So, I got one of my favorite Magnolia Tilda images that I have not used yet and highlight her in this Fall card.  Oh, she just looked so pretty with all her glittered highlights.

ENJOY NATURE FALL TILDA:
This is a very detailed card to do...There's just lots of layers on this project and lots of stitching done too. I also die-cut the both sentiments (Enjoy and Nature) from the Graphically speaking Cricut cartridge.  My Gypsy helped me do all the die-cuts in one cutting.  How I wish I have more time to actually play with this device as there's so many things I have not even used...Yes, I am one of those people that keep buying yet does not have time to use 'em... I also used my Imaginisce Crystal/Rhinestone setter to adhere the gems on the corners of my cardstock and I would say, I love it!  Oh, the things you spend to just improve your projects!  It just never stops...LOL

ENJOY NATURE FALL TILDA (INSIDE):
I figured that the inside should just be simple and neat so, I used the MS fence punch and some sewing and happy to be done decorating inside this card.

ENJOY NATURE FALL TILDA WITH ENVELOPE-BOX:
I completely adore this Fall card.  I had to make an envelope-box to accomodate the weight and thickness of this card and it fits very well.  Decorated it with matching cardstock, sewing and gems and walah, pretty cute Tilda.

BTW, I also want to know if you need any prayers of any sort and I will be happy to pray with you.  Just leave me a message and I will be delighted to do that for anyone...Always remember that everything here on earth is temporary but God's word is eternal so, store up riches in heaven where it is safe and secured.  (Matthew 6:19-20)

Dino Land Birthday Card...

Here's another Birthday Card I made for a boy that turned 4 years old...The digi images are from Dustin Pike and printed them small to accomodate several of them in a card.  Made an easel card and so totally happy with this project.

DINO LAND BIRTHDAY CARD:
I colored the images with my Bic/Sharpie and Prismacolor markers...I then cut each one and matted on black and white circles.  The letters were stamped with acrylic paint, cut out, matted and embossed with my Cuttlebug.  And then, I began sewing all over the card and stringing the dinosaurs with a blue twine.  I also used an EK success punch to create borders.

DINO LAND BIRTHDAY CARD (WHEN CLOSED):
I think a 6 X 6 card is fun to make especially for this many images...I wanted to include more Dino images but it would not fit...But yeah, this is just the perfect size for everything I want to include...

DINO LAND BIRTHDAY CARD (LAYERS):
This ended up pretty thick but I love the texture and the feel of this card...Totally awesome!

DINO LAND BIRTHDAY CARD (SPECIAL MESSAGE SPACE):
I think it's very important to have a space where I can write a personal message in each card .  A handmade card is as personal as it can be but unless you write something that is from your heart and scribbled by your hand, there's always something lacking...So, I made sure I have a special place for that in this card.  I inked the panel with the sentiment, matted it and did more sewing.

DINO LAND BIRTHDAY CARD WITH ENVELOPE-BOX:
I am pretty satisfied with how this project came to life...Hope to hear what you have to say about this...God bless!

Featuring Winter Christmas Cards...

Hey there guys...These are my very first winter cards and I should say, they came out pretty nice.  This is another image from Adam Pescott that came free from the Cardmaking magazine I bought last year.  How can you not love this bear and cat image in a sled? So, I decided to make something out of these two guys and enjoyed every minute of the process.

CHRISTMAS WINTER BEAR AND CAT IN A SLED (TURQUOISE):

CHRISTMAS WINTER BEAR AND CAT IN A SLED (RED):
The designer papers I used are from DCWV and did a lot of layering and sewing.  Added some complimentary ribbons and stamped and embossed sentiment from Inkadinkado.

CHRISTMAS WINTER BEAR AND CAT IN A SLED (TURQUOISE) LAYERS:

CHRISTMAS WINTER BEAR AND CAT IN A SLED (RED) LAYERS:
I asked my 4-year old boy which of the two cards he liked the most and he said both...No matter what I say, he would not choose just one...I guess that is the nicest compliment I have ever received...LOL

CHRISTMAS WINTER BEAR AND CAT IN A SLED (TURQUOISE) INSIDE:

CHRISTMAS WINTER BEAR AND CAT IN A SLED (RED) INSIDE:
Added some Cuttlebug embossing inside the cards that complimented their specific color scheme...Totally love the stitching there as well...

CHRISTMAS WINTER BEAR AND CAT IN A SLED (TURQUOISE) WITH ENVELOPE:
CHRISTMAS WINTER BEAR AND CAT IN A SLED (RED) WITH ENVELOPE:
I used the MS Snowflake punch and decorated the envelopes with panels of card stocks...Okay, my lack of sleep is worth it after I saw what I accomplished with these two cards...Hope you enjoy them too...

Bear with "Merry Christmas" Sign...

Oh my, Christmas is fast approaching and I can see a lot of people have already been buying stuff in preparation for Christmas which is exactly the reason why I had to come up with a card fit for the season...I took some inspiration from a "A Card-A-Day" magazine from one of the cards designed by Ms. Wendy Sue Anderson and a my own version in 2 slight color variations.  I am pretty please with how these turned out.  This card is entered into this Challenge:

1.  Saturday Challenge featuring Clean and Simple

BEAR WITH MERRY CHRISTMAS SIGN (CREAM RIBBON):

BEAR WITH MERRY CHRISTMAS SIGN (GREEN RIBBON):
The image is by Adam Pescott that I got from buying a Cardmaking magazine.  It was pretty late last year for me to use them so, I thought this time, I will make sure I incorporate them in my Christmas cards...

BEAR WITH MERRY CHRISTMAS SIGN (CREAM RIBBON) LAYERS:

BEAR WITH MERRY CHRISTMAS SIGN (GREEN RIBBON) LAYERS:
Love how the stitching added charm to this project.  I used a Fiskars Punch to make the borders and stich them to the card...Great!

BEAR WITH MERRY CHRISTMAS SIGN (INSIDE) FOR BOTH CARDS:
I just love the simplicity of this design...Neato!

BEAR WITH MERRY CHRISTMAS SIGN (CREAM RIBBON) WITH ENVELOPE-BOX:

BEAR WITH MERRY CHRISTMAS SIGN (GREEN RIBBON) WITH ENVELOPE-BOX:
Surely one of my favorite Christmas cards...I hope to post more in the coming days but has so much to do that finding time to go and do some cards is pretty difficult nowadays...But when I do, I always enjoy every minute of it, not so much the sleepless nights though...LOL

Be sure to be a blessing to all people you come across each day...Tell them of the good things that Christ has done/is doing  in your life!

One of a Kind Cupcake...

Everywhere I look,  cupcakes are featured...So, yes, I have several cupcake images that I was tempted to try as they are nothing short of cute...For this project, I used 2 of my Studio G stamps and spent hours just deciding on the lay-out to use..This was one of those days when my brain went on vacations...But nevertheless, God is faithful and surely, I came up with something after a few trial and errors...Hope you like this project:

ONE OF A KIND CUPCAKE:
I used "My Mind's Eye" as the base card here...They have such good quality vintage card pack that I had several bought a while back when they were half price...Anyway, I made this card one step at a time.  It's typical of me to not completely have a planned lay-out but with this card, I was completely out of ideas...So, had to go by what I feel or what they call "mood"...LOL  I did some Cuttlebug embossing and colored the images with my Bic and Sharpie markers and did some sewing too...Added some glaze dots on the purple cupcake and stickles too.  Glazed the cherry on top of that cupcake as well.

ONE OF A KIND CUPCAKE (LAYERS):
This card ended up pretty thick due to all the layers in the card...I think the sewing added a great deal on the images and inked them to make those cupcakes bright...I'm happy with them.

ONE OF A KIND CUPCAKE (INSIDE):
Just love to coordinate my card with some embossing and stitching...

ONE OF A KIND CUPCAKE WITH ENVELOPE-BOX:
Customized the envelope to accommodate it's thickness...This turned out to be one nice-looking purple card...

Birthday Cupcake Monkey...

I was invited to a party for a 1 year old girl and thought of making a cute card that not only her parents will love but that the birthday girl would love as well...I know,  it's too early for her to appreciate artistry but nonetheless, I wanted the baby to have a nice feel of the card...Here's what I came up with:

BIRTHDAY CUPCAKE MONKEY:
This lovely image is from Dustin Pike and had this Digi for a while now but didn't have time to really do something about it...This monkey is hilarious and wanted to make him as cute as can be...I colored him with my Sharpie and Bic markers and added embossing on the cupcake using my wet markers and clear embossing powder.  Added some glitters, glaze and inking and loved how it came out.

BIRTHDAY CUPCAKE MONKEY (LAYERS):
The base card is from "My Mind's Eye" and just had to decorate with ribbon, prima flowers, MS leaf punch and dew drops.

BIRTHDAY CUPCAKE MONKEY (INSIDE):
This cute sentiment is from Hampton Art and embossed with black powder as the base card is glossy...It turned out so well.

BIRTHDAY CUPCAKE MONKEY WITH ENVELOPE:
Combined a candle and a sentiment image, this card and envelope is already done...I was truly happy when they looked at the card upon opening the baby's gifts as the parents truly appreciated the card.  In fact, she said she will definitely keep this card.  The baby held it for a while and was fascinated with the monkey...
