THE BLESSINGS OF CREATIVITY...

I thank the LORD JESUS for each day that is given me to create wonderful projects...As always, I give Him all the glory.

Scripture Series: Casting All Your Care Card--Join us for Another Word Art Wednesday Challenge...

Hi there, dearests!  How is everyone doing this morning?  My wonderful vacation is almost over and having to leave the place where we had lots of fun for the past week is hard but that is what we are all up against...TIME!  We all try to keep up with it yet we always seem to run out of it.  I am looking forward to that blessed assurance that one day, time will not matter.  When we live this earthly existence, we are catapulted to that everlasting existence and the choice we made here on earth will play a major role towards a life with the Almighty who has promised us all great things or the very opposite of that.  But for now, all good things come to an end yet this is also true when you are experiencing trials in life.  When you put your faith and trust in the LORD JESUS CHRIST, you know that He is with you through your ups and downs.  He never leaves you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).  His friendship transcends time...It is eternal---forever!  When you have CHRIST in your heart, what is there to worry about?

So, here is a card I made featuring the free Word Art (1 Peter 5:7) that is available for anyone who wishes to have it.  Just go to Word Art Wednesday and download.  We will be delighted if you can make a project with it and join us in the Challenge but any project that has uplifting message can join.  We love to hear your stories on how this scripture played a role in your life when we visit your blog sites.  Anyway, I used a Mo Manning image in this card and colored her with my ProMarker/Prismacolor/Bic markers.  I love how pretty she is and how she complimented the Word Art.  I used 3 different DP's from K & Company together with a turquoise and yellow CS.  I added a crochet flower (I made), satin ribbon, gems and brad for added dimension.  And lastly, I stitched all over this project for a classy, elegant, finished look.  I enjoyed every minute of making this and I hope you love it too.  This Card is entered into the following Challenges:

Friends are Like Cupcakes Card---It's an IAS Challenge at Jackson's Digital Expressions...

Hello there, fellow Crafters!  Another week has passed and today, we have another IAS (Ink and Such) Challenge for you at Jackson's Digital Expressions (JDE).  It's Breast Cancer Awareness (BCA) themed so, we encourage you to make projects centered on the theme or use lots pink.  But you can link any kind of project, really.  This week's Challenge is geared towards a good cause.  Several JDE Designers have pledged to donate $.25 to Breast Cancer Research for every entry in our challenge this week.  We are not looking for money from you, just participation. Make sure to invite all your Crafty friends and head over to our Challenge site to find out some details and to link your projects.  Our DT team have showcased a wonderful array of projects you can take inspiration from.  Here's what I cooked up for you.

I used Chef Eli from Robert Jackson's Digi Collection.  I enjoyed coloring the image with my Prismacolor Markers.  I used an A7 Kraft card base and attached some layered panels on it.  My DP and cupcake embossing folders are from Paper Studio, layered with burgundy and black CS for matting.  The satin ribbon is from my stash and the sentiment is from a book called "Guide to the Perfect Word" that I computer generated.  I incorporated lots of stitching in this project and to finish it all up, I attached some white gems from Imaginisce.  I am so pleased with how this card turned out and I hope you'd enjoy it too.  This Card is entered into the following Challenges:

1.    Brown Sugar featuring "Anything Goes"

I give thanks to God, my Father, for allowing me to complete another project.  I am spending some quality time with my beloved family and had to complete several projects prior.  I don't know about you but I don't make cards in an hour.  I need an ample amount of time to make sure my projects are meeting my standards...LOL  So, to make 4 cards in a couple of days (with all my usual responsibilities, oh, and with very little sleep...LOL) was record breaking for me...LOL  One of my treasured verses in the Bible is in Philippians 4:13,  "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." So, I say thank you, Jesus, for the inspiration and the strength to carry out your plan for me each and every day.  I am eternally grateful.

Scripture Series: Friend Loves at All Times-Join Us for Another Word Art Wednesday Challenge!

Magandang umaga sa inyong lahat!   Oops, hang on, don't leave!  You came to the right Blog...LOL  What I meant was "Good morning, everybody!" in Tagalog which is the Philippines' national language.  I was born and raised there and miss all the wonderful people and places I've left behind.  After I came to know Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior, I served in a spirit-filled Church that taught me who Jesus truly is with a Biblical perspective.  So, to all my Jesus is Lord Church Family out there in the Philippines, I am eternally grateful and sending all my love to y'all.

Now, this is my 2nd week as a DT member at Word Art Wednesday (did I mention how wonderful my team mates are?---Oh, they are great women who loves the Lord Jesus, too!) and I have such a wonderful creation to share for our Challenge starting today. I am highlighting the free Word Art that comes free with this Challenge, "A friend loves at all times," from Proverbs 17:17.  Just look for this day's Challenge at Word Art Wednesday and download.  It will be nice to see it with your Challenge entry but not a requirement.  As long as you submit cards that is uplifting, then you are welcome to join.  The cute main image is from Melonheadz Illustrating which I got free after buying an image bundle a few months back.  Aww, I love them to pieces!  Had a great time coloring them with my Promarker/Prismacolor/Bic markers.  I added 5 kinds of designer papers (scraps) to produce several panels/layers.  I added one of the Crochet flowers I made and attached it to a ribbon with a brad.  I attached 2 heart gems from Imaginisce and walah, this Card is done.  The base card is a Kraft A7 size that I bought pre-cut with envelopes.  I love how the colors came together neatly and the message of the scriptures is complimented by the image.

FRIEND LOVES AT ALL TIMES WITH ENVELOPE:

So, a friend loves at all times...  Some of us may say that this isn't true because some of those whom we considered close friends turned their backs on us at some point.  We might look for love at different sources and may find it temporarily with friends or family.  But you know Who is truly a "Friend that loves at all times?"------It is JESUS!  He is the very essence of  what a perfect love is and the very source of it.  The Scriptures tells us in 1 John 4:19:  "We love Him, because He first loved us."  Another verse to ponder on is in Romans 5:8:  "But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." And one of my favorite verses, John 15:13:  "Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends."  Need I say more?  If you are looking for a lasting friendship, look no further cause Jesus is just a heartbeat and a prayer away.  Love and blessing to ya'll, always!

Picture Perfect Day Card-Join Us for a Color Challenge at Jackson's Digital Expressions...

Good day, Everyone!  Today is such a special day.  Why?  Cause IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!  I am having fun and celebrating it with my family and it's going to be wonderful.  The Bible declares in Psalm 118:24:  "This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it."  I thank the Lord Jesus for giving me a chance to know His eternal love that is freely given to those who put their trust in Him!  I've gone through many trials in life but the Lord has preserved me and saw me through even during the times when I was depending on everything else but Him.  I give Him all the glory for His perfect love...

So, I am very glad to present this Card to y'all today.  I was invited to be a DT for another group of wonderful Crafters. Jackson's Digital Expressions have a theme oriented Challenges every week and today, we are tackling a Color Challenge Combo which are pink, blue and yellow.  Now, I am exempted from this theme right now because I am a newbie...LOL  This is my intro project at Jackson's Digital Expressions and the wonderful image I used is created by resident artist, Robert Jackson. Isn't she pretty?  Like her, I'm feeling fabulous today and ready to take on the camera..LOL  I colored her with my Promarker/Prismacolor markers, layered several colors of the borders I cut from MS Border Punch, embossed the base panel with Paper Studio embossing folder, added a doily, ribbon and several colors of Recollection flowers with glitters (Stickles) on them.  I added some leaves I cut with MS Punch.  The background sentiment was from Studio G that I stamped several times to make a border and the main sentiment was a freebie from TLC.  All of this held together by a Kraft colored, 5.5" square CS, from Paper Studio.  Like most of my creations, I stitched this card inside and out.  So, what do you think?  Is she ready for this special day?  This Card is entered into the following Challenges:

1.    Make it Monday featuring "Anything Goes"
2.    Paper Playtime Weekly featuring "Punches + Sentiment"
3.    Southern Girls featuring "Bling Bling"
4.    NMWC featuring "Die-Cuts/Punches"

This is it for me, for the meantime.  If you find any inspiration in my blog, please let me know by leaving a comment here.  I love, love, love hearing from you.  Now, if you don't want to miss any post on projects I make, I encourage you to become a follower.  My blog needs a lot of "lovin'" from you, wonderful Crafters out there.  Jesus is my inspiration when I make something and most of the projects you see here were put together without any planning or a clear lay-out in mind.  I always surprise myself after I get done because I know He's been my Source. Without Him, I cannot do anything.  (John 15:5).  Let your art be a blessing to others!

Scripture Series: Commit Thy Works Unto the Lord Easel Card...Join us at Word Art Wednesday Challenge!

A Blessed Day, everyone!  You thought I have forgotten my blog?  Not at all.  Just had a hectic schedule as I prepare a few cards for the 2 new groups that asked me to join their DT teams.  I still could not believe all these wonderful opportunities to share my artwork and inspiration to all you great Crafters out there.  In fact, I am still doing a happy dance...LOL

Anyway, I've just joined the talented bunch of ladies as DT at Word Art Wednesday and they sure made me feel very welcome.  See what they share about me here.  They're among the sweetest people I've met in the Crafting world and I know that I will have a wonderful time working with them.  As my intro project, I am using the Bible verse at Proverbs 16:3 which comes as a free Word Art to anyone who wants to download it and use it for our new Challenge starting today. The main image is from Sassy Cheryl's Digi Stamps that I colored with ProMarker and Prismacolor markers.  I embossed my panels with a Cuttlebug and Paper Studio embossing folders, die cut with my Nestabilities and punched the butterflies with an MS Stamp and Punch.  I inked my edges with Broken China Distress Ink, added some glitters (Stickles) on the butterflies, incorporated a satin ribbon and placed several white gems from Imaginisce.  The sentiment, located at the message space,  is from Studio G.  Lastly, I included my favorite embellishment of all...sewing all over, in and out this Card.  I hope you're blessed with the message this Card imparts and would be glad to hear your comments.  So, hop on over at Word Art Wednesday and see what the other DT's came up with and join in the fun!  This Card is entered into the following Challenges:

COMMIT THY WORKS UNTO THE LORD EASEL CARD WITH ENVELOPE-BOX:

So, I was pondering on the scripture I shared in this card (Proverbs 16:3) and God reminded me of another verse in Philippians 4:13 that says:  "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."  Then, He took me to another verse in John 15:5 in which Jesus had spoken: "I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."  These led me to believe that its only through JESUS (our Lord and Savior) that we can find meaning and purpose for everything we plan to do.  He is the Supplier, the Source, the very Power that makes all things possible.  Have you committed all your efforts to the Lord?  The first step is to know the love and compassion He has shown you through His sacrifice on the Cross.  Know that no matter what happened in your past, He is always willing to forgive and to receive you when you come with a humble heart.  He is just a prayer away!

Behind the Smile Tire Swing Doily Card...

Hello there, it's September already and really excited that my birthday is just around the corner but not loving how allergens are starting to creep on me at the arrival of the fall season.  Anyway, this is the perfect time to enjoy outdoors as the temperature start to cool down a bit, at least not the triple digit we always have to endure at summer days.  So, I decided to make a Card celebrating the outdoors with this pretty digi stamp from Prairie Fairy.  I had her many months ago but just didn't have the time to make a project but one faithful night, ideas came and instead of heading to bed, I decided that it's time for this beautiful stamp to be featured.  Isn't she cute and lovely?  I enjoyed coloring her with my ProMarker/Prismacolor markers.  The border sentiment is from Heidi Grace and the inside sentiment is a freebie from Ginger's House. I wanted the card to have an earthy tone but not lacking wonderful colors like you see at most of my creations.  So, I die-cut a 5.5-inch doily card using my Wildcard Cricut Cartridge on a Kraft base CS.  I used different shades of brown and a beige CS to lay-out more panels with the use of MS Circle Cutter. The polka-dot DP is from Paper Studio (Doo Wap and Diddly Wink) collection.  I used an MS Deep Edge Punch for that fancy border, different color flowers from Recollection, Diamond (Stickles) glitter, die-cut leaves using Ek Success punch, blue Hotfix gems in 2 sizes and glossy accents to highlight the images' eyeglasses.  And as always, this project would not be complete without all the stitching inside and out.  I also have to make a special box thicker than the usual envelope-boxes I made before since the flowers were taller and demanded a half an inch thick envelope-box.  I am delighted at how it turned out and it's well worth the entire night without sleep...LOL  So, hope you can leave me some feedback.  I always love to hear your input.  This Card is entered into the following Challenges:

1.    Simon Says Stamp featuring "Anything Goes"
2.    Cupcake Craft featuring "Flowers"
3.    Bearly-Mine featuring "Anything that Glitters"
4.    Crafty Sentiments featuring "Let's Sparkle"

This is definitely one of my favorite cards from my creations.  It's amazing how I started without any idea on what kind of lay-out and colors to use but when the Lord Jesus allowed the creative juice to flow, it does not matter what time of the day it is, I just have to bring it into reality.  Thank You, God!  I hope this Card bless you with a smile on your face. See you all next time.  Hugs!
