Hi y'all! I can't believe weeks had passed since my last post...Sure days are passing by so quickly and as much as I wanted to do more, I've got very little time to do this amidst all my other commitments first to fellowship with the Lord and other believers and also my family and also work (yes, I am working part-time now) and the rest had to fit on whatever time is left. Anyway, crafting is my my favorite hobby right now especially making cards so, I am happy to make some cards the past couple of weeks. Three of them are Magnolia Tilda images which I love a lot. Here, you will see the image of Edwin from Magnolia Chasing Butterflies collection. This card is also entered at these challenges:
1. Cute Card Thursday featuring Whateva!
2. Saturday Challenge #95 featuring "It's a Man's World"
3. Little Red Wagon featuring Circles, circles, cirles

CHASE YOUR DREAM - BUTTERFLY EDWIN EASEL CARD:
I have several Magnolia images and most of them are Tilda...This is one of my two Edwin images and he is totally adorable...I can see my little 4-year old boy in him. I used my Bic, Sharpie on his clothes and the fence and Prismacolor markers on his skin and face. Nestabilities for the fancy shape inked with Distress inks. If you look closer, you will notice that the flowers in the fence are glazed as well.
CHASE YOUR DREAM - BUTTERFLY EDWIN EASEL CARD (WHEN CLOSE):
This is how the card appears as I put them inside the envelope and recieved initially by a recipient. Lots of stitching done in this card and Cuttlebug embossing added great dimension. The butterflies here are from Cuttlebug die and embossing set. Stickles made the butterlies glitter together with some dew drops.
CHASE YOUR DREAM - BUTTERFLY EDWIN EASEL CARD (MESSAGE SPACE):
I love this style card as I can personalize it even more by writing my own message on this space shown. I love that this card can be displayed and treasured for a long time. The sentiment is from TPC Studio. Placed some brads for accent as well.
CHASE YOUR DREAM - BUTTERFLY EDWIN EASEL CARD (WITH ENVELOPE):
Here, you can see this special Easel Card with a handmade envelope-box at .25-inch thick. I used DCWV card stock for the envelope and decorated it to coordinate with my card...I think it came out so cute...Thanks for visiting and hope you like this and feel free to browse on the other cards I made in this blog...If you find inspiration at all, please leave me a comment. I love hearing from you, guys!
Dear Lord Jesus, thanks for the time you allowed me to do what I enjoy doing and for always supplying me with inspiration daily. Help me use this talent to glorify you always!

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card!
ReplyDeleteThere seems to be a problem with your blog. It keeps taking me back and forth to my dashboard, and it's really slow. I've been here for several minutes just waiting for it to move. You might want to check that others aren't having this problem too.
ReplyDeleteHi Audrey...Thanks for stopping by as always and thanks for telling me what problems you encounter while browsing here...I didn't really see any unusual problem when I log on today and as always, there are slow moments and sites and some are fast. So, don't know what's going on there...The only problem I encounter is when I use Firefox, it does not show I am logged in in my blog site but I can access my dashboard...I already reported this and the solution they gave me didn't really solve the problem so, I have to use Explorer to browse on my blog so that I can comment without being asked to sign-in for nothing, really...LOL There's a load of people that are having similar problems so, I hope it's just a temporary thing. God bless!
