Little Girl Happy Day with Balloons- #STAMPtember at Simon Says Stamp...

Hey there, friends!  Just want to fully feature a Card I made for the #STAMPtember celebration at Simon Says Stamp.  Our DT's at Word Art Wednesday were privileged to be invited to join and try some of their awesome new release.  One of them is the "Oh Happy Day" Clear Stamp Set and I used  two of the images there in this simply cute card which can fit any occasion.  I hope you visit their Party Headquarters at Simon Says Stamp Blog for some inspiration and take advantage of some fun challenges, daily deals and limited time release.

For this Card, I also used an image from Bugaboo Digi Stamps called "WO Balloon Girl" that I colored with my ProMarker/Prismacolor/Spectrum Noir markers.  The base is white CS, cut and scored to make an A2 size card.  I used Cat's Eye Chalk Ink to stamp the sentiments and used Distress inks on the edges. The DP is from Paper Studio, the stencil from Recollections and I used Distress Ink (Spun Sugar and Victorian Velvet) to produce the stenciled background.   I punched the flower with Craftgear stamp, added some dew drops, Glossy accents to the balloon, as well as dotted the image with some white Gelly Roll pen.  Last but not the least, comes stitching.

Just want to share an encouragement that comes from the Word of God which is befitting for the challenges we face in our nation today.  Let us continue to pray to the One True God, our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ, all the more as we see "The Day" approaching.  Let us not be unwise in our thinking but cover ourselves with God's Truth (Word of God/Scripture) and stand on this sure foundation (the finished work of Christ at the Cross) against all odds.  If there's an even crucial time to call on God, that time is NOW!  Hear the voice of the Lord and declare His marvelous Light that cannot be overtaken by any darkness.  Here is Jesus' words  not only for His disciples of old but for those who have placed their trust in Him at this time. He overcame the world that is why we have complete victory as we remain in Him.

“All this I have told you so that you will not fall away.  They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God. They will do such things because they have not known the Father or me. I have told you this, so that when their time comes you will remember that I warned you about them. I did not tell you this from the beginning because I was with you, but now I am going to him who sent me. None of you asks me, ‘Where are you going?’ Rather, you are filled with grief because I have said these things. But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment: about sin, because people do not believe in me; about righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer; and about judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned. “I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you. All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will receive from me what he will make known to you.”  (John 16:1-15)

Let us pray for every believer that is suffering right now (whether in jail, in captivity or from persecutions in their workplace or from their own families) all over the world and in our country for standing up for God and His Word.  Let the peace of God that surpasses all understanding be upon them and the covering of the Almighty God as they shine the light of Jesus daily in their situation.  I pray for God's protection to follow them all the days of their lives, the same with their love ones. This I pray, in Jesus mighty Name, AMEN!

  3. Oooooh - I like the faint dots behind the image - creative to limit them to just behind the girl & balloons! You always seem to find a different way to use a stamp or a different way to construct the elements... I likes it!
