Stair-step Card Featuring Magnolia Tilda...

Hi Creative friends...Oh, I just love this card so much...I am pleased with how the colors came together to make such a bright card.  I have made a few Side-step card but this is my first attempt on a Stair-step card.  Put a lot of work on this one including sewing,  Cricut die-cutting, layering Prima flowers, glitter accents, coloring Tilda with markers and Gamsol, glaze accents on the image and lots of inking.  But at the end, I am satisfied with the outcome and I can say that this is one of my finest creation...Thanking the Lord Jesus for creativity...This card is also entered on this challenge:

THINKING OF YOU STAIR-STEP TILDA CARD (UP-CLOSE ON TILDA):
I just love my Bic and Sharpie markers as they make Tilda as bright as she can be.  Face colored with Gamsol and Butterfly is glazed...

THINKING OF YOU STAIR-STEP TILDA CARD (HANDMADE ENVELOPE):
I had to make a .5-inch thick envelope to accommodate the thickness of the card.

THINKING OF YOU STAIR-STEP TILDA CARD WITH ENVELOPE:
This is truly one of my favorite creations...It is so fun, bright and truly brings a smile to my face...I sure hope I can create more of this type of cards in the next few days...Really love it!

Heavenly Father, I thank you for the talent, for the opportunity to create and do what I love to do.  In the midst of a busy schedule, let me be reminded that my time is Yours and that You always wanted me to fellowship with you first and foremost...Thank You for loving me the way You do and for expressing each day how special I am in your sight!  I love you, Jesus!

Yummy Pink, Birthday Cupcake Card...

Oh what a sweet image and sentiment I used here from Hampton Art.  I got the stamp from the Dollar rubber stamps section at Michael's and fell in love with it.  I thought it was priced good at a buck.  But after I paid, I realized that this stamp cost a lot more at 5 bucks and was misplaced with the Dollar stamps.  I would normally return the merchandise but I just loved the image so, I kept it....LOL  I am so glad I did because this card will not be as cute without this image...With my Cuttlebug, Nesties, MS Border Punch, ribbon and wet embossing, everything came out perfect.  Used my Sakura Glaze Pen for the sprinkles on the cupcake and petals of the flowers.  Simple yet oh, so cute!

Beautiful Laced-Wedding Congrats Card...

This is my first time to make a Wedding Congrats Card and I am very pleased with the result.  Finally, I was able to incorporate a lace in my card. The very cute image is from American Art Stamp.  I think it's hilarious...love it!  The card measures 5 X 7 inches and with the help of my Cuttlebug, Nestabilities dies,  Bride flowers, Martha Stewart leaf punch  and dew drops, it sure elevated this card into a whole new level...Totally pleased with the result.

Grow Lovely Butterfly Card...

I may not incorporate butterflies in my projects all the time, but I truly love buying butterfly images...I think this time, it really added beauty to this card...I just love how the colors complimented each other and made this creation so elegant.  The Butterfly image is from Hampton Art and the sentiment is from Studio G.  With some inking, embossing and great ribbon, this card is a winner.

Father's Day Cards, What a Joy to Make...

Hey there, everyone.  I have been busy the past month and had been working part-time too so, I have to find some time to create which proved to be a difficult challenge.  Okay, okay, I have suffered from lack of sleep or no sleep at all in order to create some of the cards you see in here.  But card making is something I really like to do so, I am so happy when I get to sit at my craft table (even with very little sleep) and once I finished a project and see how pretty it came out to be, it makes me very happy...

Most of the time, in front of my Craft table, I am out of ideas on what to do.  Lay-outs are always the hardest part for me because there's so many things I wanted to include and making them all work.  I also have a small space to work on so, it can be messy getting all of my papers, tools and embellishments all in one space and still have enough space to work on...Oh well, no complaints here.  Just thankful to the Lord for a roof on our heads and His daily provision.  Anyway, here's an Easel card that I worked on, one of the six cards I've been busy with  the past few days.  Also, this card has been entered into this Challenge:

1.  Crafty Creations featuring "Your Favorite Stamp"

JUST FOR YOU DADDY EASEL CARD:
Again, the struggle to make this as manly as possible...LOL  I had to eliminate ribbons (which I love to include) but I couldn't help myself with the glitters...I think it turned out good because it made the word "Daddy" stand out.  I got the sentiment (message) from a book by Linda LaTourelle entitled "The Ultimate Guide to the Perfect Word."  By the way, the "Just For You" was cut from my Cricut Stamping cart and the word "Daddy" was cut from Mickey Font cart.  I usually don't use a lot of my Cricut for words but sure love how it turned out here.

JUST FOR YOU DADDY EASEL CARD (SENTIMENT UP-CLOSE):
Aww, I think this is just a perfect message to all of the good fathers out there....

JUST FOR YOU DADDY EASEL CARD (SPECIAL MESSAGE):
What can be more personal than writing your own words for the wonderful man in your life?  I love that with this card, there is a space to do that...Oh, and can you see how I got carried away stitching all over this card?...LOL

JUST FOR YOU DADDY EASEL CARD (FOLDED):
I so adore that little girl image from Whipper Snapper Designs.  I had fun coloring with my Bic and Sharpie markers and Prisma/Gamsol on the face...Did some inking with Tim Holtz Distress Ink using Frayed Burlap.  My favorite ink of all his inks.  I also cut the frame from my Cricut Stamping cartridge.

JUST FOR YOU DADDY EASEL CARD WITH ENVELOPE:
Another customized envelope for this very special A2 card since it became a bit thick.  I am so proud of how this turned out to be and hope you enjoy this project too...Below this post are several other Father's day card I made.  Have fun browsing...

I also want to thank the LORD JESUS for all the strength and guidance in my life...He is the very reason why I even create in the first place...To You be the glory, Almighty Father!

Father's Day Gatefold Card...

I have seen a Gatefold card before and had long been wanting to make one but just did not have the time but there's no stopping me this time...Father's day is fast approaching and paired with one of my favorite images, I came up with this one...This card has been entered into the following Challenges:

1.  Charisma Cardz featuring Going Round in Circles
2.  Sketchy Colors featuring "Earth Colors"

JUST FOR YOU DAD (FISHING) CARD:
Love the way this card turned out to be.  The image is from Whipper Snapper Designs and I colored it with my trusted Bic and Sharpie markers except for the face in which I had to use Gamsol for a more subtle effect.  Used Nestabilities to cut the image into a circle and inked with Tim Holtz distress ink (Frayed Burlap).  The sentiment is from Perfectly clear stamps and added some metal embellishments for a masculine feel...The stitching on the paper sure added a cool dimension to this card as well.

JUST FOR YOU DAD (FISHING) CARD (UP-CLOSE):
I love my Crop-a-dile so much that adding metal embellishments such as this is easy breezy.  I got a lot of this metal embellishments a long time ago, on sale, at Jo-Ann's and it sure came handy on projects like this.

JUST FOR YOU DAD (FISHING) CARD (INSIDE):
I love how the idea on the inside of this card came to me...Stamping those fishes from Inkadinkado complemented to whole idea in this card although I don't really know much about fishing...LOL  My hubby said that those are not the kind of fish normally caught when fishing...Who cares?  A fish is a fish, right?...LOL

JUST FOR YOU DAD (FISHING) CARD WITH ENVELOPE:
This is an A2 card but had to make a customized envelope to accommodate it's thickness...I had fun making this and I hope you love it too...
